Boudoir Photography: A Divisive New Trend ?

BLOGGER's NOTE:  As this is my 121st Posting for the year (more than the past 2 years combined), I decided I should end this informative year with a more or less light-hearted posting.

Before saying ''I do,'' more brides-to-be are stripping down for a sexy photoshoot as a pre-wedding gift to their grooms-to-be. Is this just a regrettable fad or an empowering form of body art?

No longer is it enough for engaged couples to commission awkward, contrived posed engagement photos and force them on family and friends. A new trend in wedding photos has arrived. At the boudoir photography session, brides-to-be are stripping down either partially or completely and paying to have soft-porn photos taken of themselves as a gift for their ''intended''.

Some critics cringe at the prospect of future generations looking back at these supposedly treasured photos of their parents, but boudoir photography specialists say it's an empowering form of body art. So what is Boudoir Photography exactly? Actually, the word boudoir dates back to the Victorian era when it referred to a lady's private rooms, which she used for dressing or bathing. By extension, boudoir photography describes shots that capture a woman simulating such private activities. The photos show women in lingerie, or without lingerie, posing coyly or provocatively. Brides, who represent the bulk of boudoir clients, ''often bring veils, garters and wedding night lingerie, but their future spouses' favourite sports jersey are also popular,'' says Michelle Ruiz at The Daily News.

''And it's not just straight, childless brides who commission boudoir photos,'' comments Brooklyn photographer Amber Marlow in her blog, Marlow. ''I have done boudoir shoots for lesbians, and for ladies who are glowing and bursting at the seams with a soon-to-be-born baby. Ms Marlow also takes offense at comparisons between boudoir and porn, adding that the steamy pics are ''a celebration of beauty, sexiness and sexuality, and they're a whole lot of fun.''  Boston wedding photographer, Amy Haberland says, ''Boudoir is about art, it's not about getting undressed, but rather you are getting ready to show your best self.''

Although many boudoir clients give these photos to their partners, ''you don't do a boudoir shoot for someone, you do it for you,'' adds Marlow. ''The person posing has taken a bold action that's made them look and feel amazing.''  Doug Barry at Jezebel, has a point by stating, ''Tell that to the people who may unwittingly find the photos in the future. A whole generation of middle-aged adults will be tasked one day with sorting through their recently deceased parent's secret box of stuff which could include a flipbook of mom in various stages of undress and even a pleasant drunkenness!''

The Way I See It....Doug will have to lighten up. I think by that time in the future, our children will be alright with seeing a beautiful mom as they never saw her before; that is, before they were born. Sure, a boudoir session can take some of its cues -- even a lot of its cues -- from a hardcore porn shoot, but the purpose is definitely not the same. It's the joy and love of being a human being. Have a Happy New Year dear followers and be assured that there will be more interesting and revealing blog postings to come.

Now, is the Winter of Our Discontent !

In the last posting you had Dr Audrey H. Krieg's powerful insight into the recent re-election of a Marxist president by a willing, but equally ignorant, lazy, entitlement-hungry electorate. He has shown the concern many have for the direction the American Dream of harmony and self-reliance is going. Those of you who have followed my blog postings for the last three years have been given many insights into politics of government, climate change and even the health industry. At year's end, it might be a good time for me to do look into my crystal ball and see what we can anticipate in the coming four years of Barack Obama's socialist regime. I'll call it Obama's infamous Baker's Dozen!
  1. As we have already seen, the Sandy Hook massacre has prompted an outcry that falls into Obama's hands as a mandate to initiate a massive assault on the 2nd amendment through proxies like Californian Democrat Diane Finklestein's Anti-gun Bill. Attacks on the Second Amendment Foundation and the NRA with IRS audits, banning semiautomatic rifles, banning 10+ bullet gun magazines and other draconian issues.
  2. The continuation of the Dollar's devaluation through inflation, leading to the end of the Dollar as the world's reserve currency. Additional downgrades of America's credit rating. A probable 30+% inflation rate, gas prices by 2015 of  $8 per gallon. A National Debt by 2016 of $32 trillion!
  3. Massive increases of government spending, ignoring the Fiscal Cliff promises, to $1.7 trillion per year. Healthcare costs skyrocketing to a $1 trillion per year. Medical costs for 2011 were $835 billion - they double every seven years. $40 billion monthly mandated spending through 2013 - just printed money backed by nothing.
  4. The continued failure of foreign policy through increased violence in the middle East. Further growth of Islamic fundamentalism, the Arab Spring becomes a Arab Winter of Discontent with expansion of an anti-Western takeover of Syria and a war with Iran.
  5. Attacks on the Internet and free speech. The development of cybersecurity in the fake support of anti-terrorism with cataloguing every American. Controlling social media and Web content. Restriction of Internet IP's whose allocation will be turned over to an international body.
  6. Two more leftist Supreme Court justices turning the Supreme Court into a leftist majority that will internationalize American jurisprudence, destroy what ever is left of the constitution and complete America's journey to socialism.
  7. With Habeas Corpus already eliminated and the elimination of the 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th 9th and 10th portion of the Bill of Rights through the enactment of the Patriot Act and now NDAA (National Defence Authorization Act) you can expect a massive assault on civil liberties. There will be use of American military to implement government actions. All socialist governments in history that enacted such laws have used them to keep themselves in power.
  8. The expansion of power vested in the UN will grow dramatically. The ''Globalist Dynamic'' will oversee the abandonment of American Sovereignty. The International Court at The Hague (in Holland) will gradually replace the Supreme Court and justice will be internationalized.
  9. The world's leading secret and semi-secret organizations like CFR (Council on Foreign Relations), TC (Trilateral Commission), Bilderbergers, WEF (World Economic Forum), RIIA (Royal Institute of International Affairs) and others will come to dominate American foreign policy. In Obama's first term the military was politicized, all new flag officers are CFR members, the entire cabinet is CFR, or TC or Bildberger or all three.
  10. Reelection rates for Obamacrats will rise from 77% to over 93%. Obamacare will raise medical costs by billions, medical services will continue to decline and free-market options will be eliminated in favor of ever-bigger government. By 2016 the American economy will be in hyperinflation and will start to collapse with a shock-heard-'round-the-world!
  11. The regulatory juggernaut that began on the first day of Obama''s reign, will be expanded further to destroy American free enterprise of every sort. Any company successful will be relentlessly attacked by over-regulation. This will further destroy jobs and foster business nationalizations.
  12. Green energy, in the form of solar and wind electric energy production, including electric cars, all of which are non-competitive in the marketplace without huge government subsidies (your taxes) will be expanded. These are the very policies that drove Spain to bankruptcy. By wasting billions, they will drive fuel prices up (in spite of the shale gas boom), eliminate coal as a cheap energy source, out goes Alaskan oil production and the Keystone pipeline from Canada forcing Canada to sell to China...reeking havoc to the entire economic system.
  13. And on top of all this, Obama will insure a solid voting block in 2016 by Ass-Kissing his Hispanic electorate by declaring amnesty for 25 million illegal immigrants. This will almost immediately be the Coup D'etat to America's viability by bankrupting the entire welfare system, including Medicare, Medicaid, Obamacare and Social Security.
The Way I See It....it doesn't look good for America's future as the shining beacon of freedom and strength built on an economic system that has left other systems on the Trash-Heap-of-History: CAPITALISM. The past year I have delved into what makes Barack Hussein Obama tick and posted my discoveries on a regular basis. That he was steeped into a Marxist upbringing by first by his loony bin mother, his grandparents, a family friend, college buddies, his father's anti-colonialist writings, then leftist professors and Marxist Jews in Chicago. It's in his DNA that he hates what America stands for; its world power and its capitalist system of self-determination and achievement. It's a shame that there were so many dwelling on their regular handouts that they never took much notice of various warnings in so many books, Fox News and conservative press exposing this Marxist creature in there midst and his plans to turn their world upside down. They will have given up their freedom for the easy road of entitlements. Obama is boiling the frog of personal freedom. You've heard the story: By gradually turning up the heat the frog won't notice until too late it is being boiled to death. When civil liberties are taken away gradually, bit by bit, few notice what's happening until too late. It's Over America !!

IT'S OVER ! An Open Letter to the American People

An America Ex-Pat who just returned home from living in Europe, Dr. Audrey H. Krieg says, "I have seen the end of America with the rise of the entitlement society!''  He continues:
Not many Americans have any experience with socialist governments so let me explain from personal familiarities exactly what you may expect out of the coming four years. Let me make this simple, the same thing happened in England after WW2 resulting in a brain drain when thousands fled England, their home, for nations more accommodating to self-starters. Additionally, the government began a long process of nationalizing industries (Obama's starting with GM, Chrysler and AEG) which resulted in the collapse of many of those industries; producers of wealth. In socialist society, Greece, France Spain and Italy for example, those who fail in life are rewarded, by the fool socialists in charge and all for the sake of ENVY, they produce a society in which all are losers. Socialist governments go belly up when the producer's money is used up.

I have asked myself how could there be so many brainless Americans who don't give a damn about; 23 million unemployed, 47 million food stamps, 25 illegal immigrants, 5 million Green Card holders, a national debt of 16+ trillion, 10 million on welfare, gasoline and foodstuffs doubling in four years? How could our fellow citizens re-elect a president whose entire four-year term was spent playing golf with his idiot vice-president and vacationing with a frequent blaming of others for his created situation and has the nerve to campaign for re-election with the motto FORWARD? How could they forget Fast & Furious, Benghazi and bowing before the king of Saudi Arabia? Do they realize that Obama will most likely appoint two more ultra-leftist Supreme Court Justices? We live in a nation of fools!

In the end, the re-elected president is not the problem so much so that the problem is more that the demographics have changed and the attitude of the electorate has differed. This is no longer my country, or that of my parents, it is a new paradigm, with which I am unfamiliar. America has turned brown and socialist and blaming the lame-stream media is counterproductive. It is an uneducated, lazy and stupid electorate that is to blame, along with the government education that produced it. That is problem to which I can see no immediate solution, because it is not until we reach ''Rock Bottom'' and suffer cold and hunger that we shall see CHANGE!

This election was a divergence of positions and issues directed at specific demographic groups. Obama appealed to blacks, Hispanics, those under 29, government workers, single women, welfare and food stamp recipients and in general terms....takers not creators. The entire campaign was directed at an average intelligence of IQ 85 and the educational level of a fifth grader. Obama was the candidate of the under and un-educated, the stupid and the loafers. Romney took the high road but those underachievers, the non-white and younger shit-for-brains citizens represented a larger societal segment, Romney directed his campaign to those with an IQ of 105 or higher, which population base is not anymore a sufficient size to win. The basic variance is Obama for socialism/communism, Romney for free enterprise, self-reliance and freedom: capitalism. The lazy losers sucking on the teat of government largess will pick socialism/communism every time.

As I said, things will have to get much worse before any change can be achieved. CHANGE only occurs in the lower strata of society when things get so bad that food, electricity, gasoline and shelter becomes the major issues of consideration. When HOPE is lost, then communist propaganda words like FORWARD and Wealth Redistribution are left behind. Anyone suffering from the delusion that Obama's policies will improve the economy had better wake up. From 2009 to 2012 Obama could not even produce a budget that passed his Democrat controlled Senate. The Senate, which will continue under that major deadbeat Harry Reid, also produced no budget in the last three years, will continue to bottle up House legislation even if the Fiscal Cliff is avoided. And this scumbag was also re-elected!

I my opinion Obama will destroy America, which I believe is his plan all along. The actions of the past 5 years all point to a collapse of our economy and the socialization of it, to the benefit of the same elite who control Europe. Queen Victoria's Jewish Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli said it best; ''those in elected office are forever the servants of those who provide for their vices.'' Barack Obama is nothing but George Soro's (actually the Jew Geoergi Schwartz) puppet. One of Obama's favorite authors Saul D Alinsky, a hard-core Jewish communist that wrote Rules for Radicals who produced the political strategy Obama is following, to facilitate the destruction of a free economy through bankruptcy caused by overspending. When that happens the ''dog-will-have-its-day'' as Obama and his fetid Marxist government is be thrown out by the very money-grubbing idiots that put him in power.

Sleep On It !

Like millions of other folks, David Randall has struggled for most of his life with sleep problems. The standard advice from his doctor -- aim for about 8 hours of sleep per night and go to bed and wake up at the same time every day -- didn't help. So Randall, a journalist, stated researching the Science of Slumber.

The effort led him to an eye-opening conclusion: Many studies and historical records suggest our brains are wired to sleep in two shafts, not a single eight-hour block of time. He also discovered that studies consistently showed the quality and depth of sleep we get is far more important than the quantity, regardless of whether it comes in an eight-hour stretch or a 30-minute nap.

Randall's findings, detailed in a new book Dreamland: Adventures in the Strange Science of Sleep, upends many conventional beliefs about sleep. It also challenges some basic assumptions and recommendations specialists have made over the years. ''You'd think that we'd have as strong grasp on sleep as we do of digestion or any other bodily function,''  Randell says, ''But researchers are for the most part still piecing it together.''  Randell notes in his book that dozens of sleep studies simply don't support the conventional idea that sleeping in one single stretch offers the most restorative, restful period of slumber.

Not everyone agrees, of course. Some ''experts'' have gone as far as to say that napping is harmful to health because it disrupts sleep patterns. But Randall cites a host of studies that have found naps are not harmful and, in fact, are beneficial to many people. An analysis of sleep research, by the National Institute of Industrial Health, concluded: ''Even with naps shorter than 30 minutes, shift work problems may be alleviated by the short nap at the workplace....Studies suggest a decrease in the risk of cardiovascular and cognitive dysfunction by the practice of taking short naps several times a week.''

Many cultures in many countries embrace the afternoon nap, including those in China, India and Spain. Multiple historical references and early works of literature suggest the single-block sleep pattern is a relative new practice. References to a ''first sleep'' and ''second sleep'' appear in everything from the Canterbury Tales to the writings of 16th-century European physicians. and sleep research by the National Institute of Mental Health has even found people deprived of artificial light -- without any prescribed sleep schedule -- tended to wake up a little after midnight, lie awake for an hour or two, and then drift back to sleep again.

Additional studies by NASA, the British University of Lincoln and the City University of New York have all suggested that any deep sleep primes our brains to function at a higher level, regardless of whether it comes in an eight-hour stretch or a shorter rest. Deep sleep helps us think more creatively, come up with good ideas, solve problems better, and recall information more accurately.

The Way I See It....the questions raised by Randall's book have far-reaching implications. Nearly one-third of all working people, world-wide, are sleep deprived. People spend billions a year on sleeping pills. Pills like Ambien, Lunestra, Sonata and their derivatives greatly boost health dangers by being habit-forming, causing disorientation and next-day grogginess. But worse, a University of California (San Diego) study found that regularly taking sleep medication increases cancer risk 35% and over death risk fivefold!

What you eat affects how you sleep. One of the keys to a restful night's sleep without pills is to get your brain calmed rather than revved up.  I advise my patients to seek out tryptophan-containing foods, because tryptophan is the amino acid that the body uses to make serotonin and melatonin, the neurotransmitter that slows down nerve traffic so your isn't so busy. Making more tryptophan  available, either by eating foods that contain this substance, with some carbohydrate, will help make you sleepy. We all know how tired we get after a filling Turkey dinner, that's because turkey is a rich source of L-trytophan, but all animal proteins, like chicken and to a lesser degree red meats, contain some of it as well. Prawns (shrimp) are high in tryptophan with tuna, salmon, sardines and scallops a bit less.

While dairy products contain significantly less L- tryptophan per serving than meats and seafood, they still provide you with a full essential amino aid set along with bone-healthy calcium. I advise my patients to get into a habit of my mother's; a turkey sandwich followed by a tall glass of  milk. This is a triple ''punch'' for sleep-inducing a proper cycle and thereby allow you to achieve a healthy sleep and mood. As another option, many of my business patients who travel overseas regularly will take melatonin tablets to help them reduce jet-lag and return to a normal sleep cycle. If the ''Turkey/Milk Plan'' doesn't suit try ''Plan B''.

Mental Health Bill Could've Stopped Shooter !

A troubling revelation has come to light regarding a mental health bill recently defeated in Connecticut during this calendar year. Had it passed, that bill could have possibly taken Adam Lanza off the streets so he would not have been free to commit his heinous act last Friday.

In February Connecticut Senate Bill 452 (SB452) was put forward to remedy the fact that Connecticut was one of less than 10 states in the U.S. to lack an ''assisted outpatient treatment'' (ATO) law. There are just 6 states that lack this law. The Bill was passed to Connecticut's Joint Committee on Judiciary in March, where it quietly faded away because of opposition from the idiots in ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) and other assholes crying ''foul''. These dickheads, instead to caring for the rights of the law-abiding citizenry, prefer the ''rights'' of the Fruitcakes to be left to their own devices.

Although there is some variation, the way these laws work is simple: AOT Laws preempt older statutes that only allow the mentally ill to be forcibly institutionalized for treatment if they've only done harm to themselves. This is possible because AOT Laws allow a state to institutionalize a mentally ill person for treatment if the state has reason to suspect such institutionalization will prevent the individual from doing harm to self or others.

Had the law passed, it may have forced Adam Lanza to be treated for his mental illness instead of allowing him to roam free, and ultimately to kill his long-suffering mother and 25 others and himself in a vindictive rage. But no...the ACLU, ignoring this law's success in 44 other states viewed it as ''egregious'' and repeatedly called it ''outrageously discriminatory.''  What is outrageous is the pure gutlessness of the politicians to allow these idiots to stop the bill's passage. They all have blood-on-their-hands! The parents should get after them with baseball bats to knock some sense into them.

Psychiatrist James Knoll told CNN's Headline News yesterday that Adam Lanza was ''acting in a ritualistic way during the horrific events.''  Knoll, who does research at the State University of New York Medical School, said in a recent report that killers like Lanza see themselves as ''pseudocommandos...driven by strong feelings of anger and resentment, in addition to having a paranoid character. He plans out the offense ritualistically, and comes prepared with a powerful arsenal of weapons.''  Knoll added that killers like Lanza have an ''obliterative mindset...his 'self' is already dead and...his physical death is of little consequence in his own mind. That's why the little creep killed himself in the end.''

The Way I See It....no one can know that the passage of SB452 would have stopped Lanza for sure, as there's no guarantee a doctor or mental specialist would have seen the warning signs in time to institutionalize him for treatment. However, it is worth noting that proponents of SB452 had the prevention of situations like Friday's shooting in mind when they tried to join the 44 other states to provide Connecticut residents with another layer of protection from the mentally ill (and criminal).

I think we think far too shallow about these events. We concern ourselves with metal detectors, security systems, ''profiles'', preventing the mentally ill from obtaining firearms. This is shallow facile thinking. Want to make a material impact? Think deeper.  Cultivate a respect for how to teach compassion, nonviolence and personal responsibility in each child's mind.

Curcumin Matches Exercise for Heart Health Benefits !

Turmeric is a spice derived from the rhizome and root of the Curcuma Longa plant, which is native to India and Indonesia. People have consumed turmeric for its flavour and health-promoting properties for 4000 years. Curcumin is the major active ingredient responsible for turmeric's yellow colour and medicinal properties. Using turmeric as a spice is a healthful practice, but taking its derivative curcumin as a herbal supplement will produce a more profound medicinal effect.

Daily supplements of curcumin may benefit cardiovascular health to the same extent as exercises for postmenopausal women, say new data from a clinical trial from Japan. Vascular health, as measured by flow-mediated dilation (FMD), improved equally in groups of women receiving the curcumin supplements and those receiving aerobic exercise training, according to findings published in the Nutrition Research Journal.

Another recent study in the British Journal of Nutrition indicated that decreased FMD is reported to be a predictor of future adverse cardiovascular events, with every 1% decrease in FMD associated with a 12% increase in risk! The researchers wrote, ''Therefore, regular ingestion of curcumin could be a preventative measure against cardiovascular disease in postmenopausal women. Furthermore, our results suggest that curcumin may be a potential alternative for patients who are unable to exercise.''  It was also found to be beneficial for the prevention of atherosclerosis, a condition characterized by a hardening and narrowing of the arteries. Previous tests found that curcumin was found to lower total cholesterol and LDL cholesterol levels and to prevent the blood from clotting.

The Japanese study had researchers from the University of Tsukuba recruit 32 post-menopausal women and assigned them to one of three groups: The first group acted as the controls, the second group underwent an aerobic exercise training regime, and the third group received curcumin supplements in a daily dose of 25 milligrams. The study lasted for eight weeks, after which the results showed that FMD increased significantly and equally by about 1.5% in both the exercise and curcumin groups, compared to no changes in the control group. ''The mechanism responsible for the curcumin ingestion induced improvement in endothelial function is unclear,'' said the researchers.

The Way I See It....further studies are warranted to clarify the mechanism underlying the effect of curcumnin on endothelial function. However, much more has been found out about curcumin in the last 15 years. Firstly, it is a powerful antioxident that helps to reduce and neutralize free radicals, which damage and destroy your cells and DNA. Curcumin also reduces two inflammation-promoting enzymes in tour body and is therefore an effective anti-inflammatory agent. Due to this amazing ability, the University of Maryland Medical Center states that curcumin supplements may help to relieve symptoms of osteoarthritis, a condition characterized by inflammation, pain and stiffness in the joints.

I have found studies that show taking curcumin as a supplement may help prevent and treat bacterial and viral infections. Supplements have also been used to treat liver problems and skin disease, lower blood sugar levels in diabetics and reduce kidney stones. In addition, curcumin may help to treat an inflammatory eye condition known as ''uveitis''. We know that curcumin stimulates the gallbladder to produce bile and consuming the spice turmeric regularly, or supplementing curcumin directly, may help to improve digestion, reduce bloating and gas and treat and sooth digestive disorders. Further findings include that curcumin supplements combined with conventional medical treatment may help with ulcerative colitis. Of course....as with all herbal supplements, talk to your health-care practitioner.

Evil Has a Field-Day in Connecticut !

No doubt you are aware of the horror that occurred yesterday (Friday) and what has unfolded in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. ''Evil visited this community today,'' Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy said that evening. ''We are all in this together.''  No truer words have been spoken, but when you think about it, says Erick Erickson, editor of RedState News, ''we don't, as a nation, come together much any more except in tragedy.

"We used to come together as a nation during the Olympics, when we rooted for Americans. But in recent years we are too often lectured about jingoism in rooting for our side. We used to come together as we sent men and women into space, but we can't much afford to do that any more and we don't. When we come together for most sporting events, we find ourselves, at times angrily, divided among friends among teams.''

Erickson makes the strong point that people come together as a nation every four years to inaugurate the President. But it has turned into a bitter and divisive exercise since Obama and his cronies hijacked the electorate by splitting the demographics to include rich against poor, black/brown against white, gays against straights, atheists against Christians and young against the old. He adds, ''About the only time we ever come together as a nation anymore is when savage tragedy happens. When men fly planes into tall buildings, shoot up a movie theater or gun down children, we gather, pray and cry. It is not healthy for a nation that its only acts of coming together are acts of tragedy, or even charity stemming from tragedy.''

The gunman, identified as Adam Lanza, 20, was found dead at the scene of the slaughter. Besides the 20 children and 6 adults, police believe Lanza is also responsible for the death of an unidentified woman at a home in Newtown (later found to be his mother). His brother Ryan is cooperating with the investigation. Ryan told police that Adam has a history of mental illness, according to a senior police official. The tragedy unfolding today is not an act of the insane, but an act of evil. That evil may drive the shooter insane, but in focusing on the insanity we lose focus on the evil....real, palpable evil. And there will be a vocal group of secularists or pathetic atheists that would chime in and dispute this observation.

The conversation at times of evil is immediately drowned out by political opportunists seeking to drive their agenda. The news channels meditate on the nature of gun violence and gun restrictions or what other restrictions or laws can ever be used. We do that, in part, because in times of grief and helplessness it makes us feel like we can do something. But we can do nothing in the face of evil until we confront evil itself. There is really good and there is really real evil in the world and philosophers from Nietzsche, Spinoza, Jung and even Ayn Rand have recognized it for what is. Rand brings it into sharper perspective: Thinking is man's only basic virtue, from which all others proceed. And his basic vice, the source of his evil is that nameless act of blanking out, the willful suspension of one's moral consciousness, the refusal to think -- not blindness, but the refusal to see; not ignorance, but the refusal to know. It is the act of unfocusing one's mind and inducing an inner fog to escape the responsibility of judgement -- on the unstated premise that a thing will not exist if you refuse to identify it. This is the milieu of Evil.

The Way I See It....in this small window of grief-stricken opportunity, America has a real moment to assess why it is that it is careening out of control morally and socially. In that small window, instead of discussing the politics or the laws, they should discuss the evil and the good and the God, on which the U.S. was founded, from whom they have, as a nation, drifted so far.

Former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee says, ''We have systematically removed God from our schools. The anti-religious movement with their twisting of the founder's intentions for a separation of church and state have forced restrictions on school prayer and religious materials in the classroom. Should we be so surprised that schools would become a place of carnage?  What he says next is so true: ''We've made school a place where we don't want to talk about eternity, karma, the sanctity of life, what responsibility means, accountability -- that we're not just going to have to be accountable to the police if they catch you, but your fellow citizens and a higher power. If you don't believe that....then you don't fear that.''

I'm afraid the things that Mike Huckabee mentions are also rarely spoken and taught at home. I have found that the basics of morality doesn't spring from a TV set, a Nintendo game or the Internet but from the actions and discussions of the parents to a child's experiences.  The instilling of civic responsibility and social accountablity produces good citizens. Of course this can and should be re-enforced along with a good dose of caring discipline when the need arises..

Welcome to the Incompetent Era !

Wow!  Incompetence is king in American government, and the voters just can't get enough of it. They love having overlords they can't fire for providing bad service. it's considered rude and perhaps even immoral, to question the quality of government services. This has a virtue of absolving the citizen of any reponsibility for rationally evaluating the quality of the ''service'' he is receiving. He can reserve his energy for what has devolved into a tribal and irrational process of voting for a new ''board of directors'' every few years - a contest which, for too many people, is more like rooting for a football team than discharging a vital civic duty. All thought of actually firing Washington Inc. for its ineptitude has been banished from their minds. They can scarcely even conceive of seeking out privatized ''competitors'' for its ''business.''

When the competence of U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice was recently called into question - on the entirely reasonable grounds that a candidate for Secretary of State should not be serving as either a dupe, or willing stooge, for laughably false propaganda - the Democrats and their media allies howled that charges of ''incompetence'' were nothing but code words for racism. The automatic equation of incompetence with a particular racial background was once the province of racists, but now it's rhetorical fodder for the (loudly) self-declared ''enemies'' of racism. This is partially because the notion of rationally scoring a powerful Washington figure for competent performance, the way most of the rest of us must occasionally stand for performance reviews, seems quaint and odd to our political class. What matters are connections, power bases, and how much political capital can be spent to keep officials parked in their jobs. Whether they are demonstrably ''good or ''bad'' at their jobs is not terribly relevant.

This is not a new development, and is not limited to individual bureaucrats. the overall performance of the federal government is not taken into consideration, at all, when debating whether or not to give it more money, or allow it to keep spending money it doesn't have. Ronald Reagan famously observed that our central government fought a trillion-dollar War-On-Poverty....and Poverty won! Thirty years on, the government spends a trillion dollars it doesn't have every year, to fight countless domestic-policy ''wars'' it loses with equal decisiveness. We have ''energy policies'' that produce less energy, compulsory government ''investments'' that collapse into black holes of failure and ''jobs bills'' that make the workforce smaller. No one says, ''Good Lord, none of this is working! The people paying for it have been defrauded!'' Instead, the people paying for it are attacked with venomous enthusiasm for their reluctance to pay even more.

We have a Obama's government that doesn't even pretend to pass budgets anymore. It has catastrophically failed at its simple, essential duty to take good care of the money American citizens give it. But it's not punished for this failure...it is rewarded. The accumulated consequences of its fiscal failures are presented as an irresistible augment that it must grow larger! And even though some of the same people have been perched in Congress and the bureaucracy for decades, no one is called to account for the running the kind of racket that would have gotten shut down for malpractice and accounting fraud, if it were a private-sector business.

Unfortunately, politicians, particularly big national figures, are judged according to countless factors beyond their competence in any one area. It doesn't matter that Barack Obama proved to be one of history's worst investment advisers; he always knew there would be plenty of other factors in his re-election like playing the racial demographics game. That's why it was difficult to build popular consensus for his termination due to even the most comprehensive failures of his pro-Marxist administration.

The Way I See It....the demand for competence grows from personal responsibility. Helpless dependents have much lower standards for those who feed them. The more voters are made to feel like hapless prey in a wilderness of capitalist predators, the less qualified they feel to judge government based on anything but the poetry of its promises. They'd rather be told what to do, by a State that presents itself as the only suitable object of their trust. They would rather applaud the passage of a bill and the accompanying fireworks display of good intentions, than scrutinize the actual performance of the agencies it creates.

The move by the Obama government to centralize power in Washington removes the competition that still exists between state governments. ''Progressive'' theory insists that no marketplace occupied by the government will ever be returned to the people - the accumulation of power is a one-way process. That leaves Washington with progressively fewer competitors to worry about....and when you have no competitors, why get all worked up about competence? Your ''customers'' aren't going anywhere, and you can increase the price of your ''services'' without concern for their quality. That's why this incompetent era has proven to be very, very, expensive.  God Help America !!!

OBAMA: In Need of a Wake-Up Call on the Economy !

Millionaires and their wealth are not just fleeing Hollande's France, with its new 90% top tax rate. They've also been escaping Britain's 50% tax too. As The telegraph's reported two weeks ago, ''almost two-thirds of the country's million pound earners disappeared from Britain after the introduction of the 50% top rate of tax.'' In the 2009-10 tax year, more than 16,000 people declared an annual income of more than 1 million pounds to Revenue and Customs. This number fell to just 6,000 after Gorden Brown introduced the higher tax rate. It will be a huge challenge for Britain to recover its lost wealth even now that the rate was dropped to 45% this year. Labour's ideological tax hike led to a tax cull of millionaires costing the U.K. around 7 billion pounds in lost revenue.  These dumb Marxists never learn....are you listening Obama?

There are important lessons here for the White House and the figures coming from the UK should be a wake-up call for the President, who has pledged, in his election campaign class war, to force ''the wealthiest Americans to pay more in taxes.'' Specifically, Obama wants to raise the top rate for those earning $250,000 a year or more from 35% to 43%. Compare this to the current top income tax in Singapore of 20% and Hong Kong at 15%. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani warned Republican leaders against caving in to President Obama on tax increases, saying, ''Americans voted in November for a debt reduction compromise that includes deep spending cuts, especially healthcare costs.''

Combined with the rising cost of ObamaCare, which is already forcing many businesses to shed jobs, this will have a disastrous effect on the US economy. Small businesses will be especially hard hit, with large numbers of small business owners caught in the new tax bracket. Even the White House itself admits that more than 600,000 small businesses will be slammed by the new tax hike. Other estimates based on treasury Department figures, suggest that up to 1.2 million businesses could be affected, threatening more than a million jobs!

Obama's tax increase will also act as a major disincentive for foreign entrepreneurs to invest in the US economy, build businesses and create jobs. As a survey of America's Fortune 500 companies showed, over 40%  ''were founded by immigrants or their children.'' These companies are employing more than 3.6 million people, generating $1.7 trillion in revenue. As tax rates rise, there will be every incentive for overseas businessmen to put their money elsewhere, rather than invest in Obama's Big Government America. The President should keep repeating the iconic mantra, ''The business of America...is Business!''

It is also a Marxist illusion to believe that high earners in America do not contribute enough money to the quickly draining coffers of the federal government. What a delusional Obama refers to as ''the wealthiest Americans'' already pay more than their ''fair share'' in taxes. The top 1% of US earners already pay 22.5% of all federal income taxes, even though their share of total income earned just 13.5%. The top 2-5% pay 17.3% of the total share of taxes paid, even though their share of total income earned is 12.5%. The top 20% of Americans pay 67.9% of total federal income taxes, while their share of total income earned is 50.9%.

The Way I See It....under Barack Obama, the United States has steadily fallen down in index of the world's freest economies and is now ranked tenth in the world, below Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland and Canada. If this idiot succeeds in raising the top rate tax in his second term, it will fall even further. Trampling economic freedom is hardly the best way to handle America's huge debt, which stands at a staggering $16.3 trillion and rising. Instead of increasing revenue, tax hikes are likely to reduce them, as the British example has clearly shown. ( Read Thomas Sowell's comments in my November 9th posting.)

Driving many of the country's most successful people, as well as their money, out of the United States is sheer economic suicide. I've written before that I think that is exactly what this anti-American trained bastard wants to do. The American Dream rest upon the foundations of economics and individual liberty, a dream that has attracted millions of entrepreneurs to the land-of-the-free for centuries. President Obama's Big Government agenda is not only generating more debt, but is also strangling wealth creation. This is a path to decline....not renewal. Giuliani sums it up: ''This is a spending problem; it's not a revenue problem. Obama is trying to convince his ignorant supporters that raising taxes on the rich will somehow make it easier to solve. It's a symbolic gesture, rather than a real gesture.''

18 Conferences to Give Us Nothing But Hot Air !

The latest global warming charade in Doha, has shown itself to be every bit the farce that was Copenhagen. Almost 200 nations extended a weakened United Nations plan for combating global warming until 2020 last Saturday with a modest set of measures that would do nothing to halt world greenhouse gas emissions. Environment ministers extended the Kyoto Protocol till 2020, which obliges about 35 industrial nations to cut their emissions. But the treaty has been sapped by the withdrawal of Russia, Japan and Canada and its remaining backers, led by the European Union and now accounts for just 15% of the world greenhouse emissions.

Not to admit a total loss and waste of time, the Warmists signed up the West for another free money giveaway. The global warming gravy train just got richer for free-loaders and professional alarmists. Even Australia's stupid Labor government has backed a climate change deal that offers 52 poor countries financial aid for the ''loss and damage'' they suffer from extreme weather events that would cost billions.

Experts say the obligation - written (in Doha) into the global climate accord for the first time - would lead to long-term demands on rich countries to pay for rebuilding in hurricanes and other disasters that could be linked to climate change. Of course, with climate change now held responsible for every major natural catastrophe, the liabilities are potentially incalculable. I have been sensing lately that there is a nasty streak that runs through the U.N. process - a chance for revenge against the U.S. and the West in general. The U.S. threatened to crash the Doha talks until the liability was capped at the $100 billion a year. From Doha it's clear the rest of the world cannot sustain the UN-led model for cutting greenhouse gas emissions and Australia and America should recognise this it by junking the Kyoto Protocol.

So 18 years and 18 conferences have achieved exactly what?  Is there anyone out there that now doesn't see what an utterly sick and pointless joke this whole process is? If they don't...the clue is in the numbers. COP 18 means that this was the 18th such utterly pointless exercise. Pointless, apart from generating lots and  lots of CO2 and committing to the next, utterly useless, conference. Annual CO2 emissions are perhaps 25 % higher than at the time of the first COP and rising inexorably (see chart as blue line) as opposed to years of no real warming (red line).

The Way I See It.....the warming worriers and their deceptive warmist spin are living in a bazaar parallel universe where they don't see that the Emperor isn't wearing any clothes. The climate change  edifice is getting threadbare and full of holes and yet they are blind to the reality. The kind of ignorance which warmists, like our idiot Prime Minister and eco-nutcase and leader of the Greens have fed Australians with their fallacious talk of ''carbon'' - rather than harmless carbon dioxide - is perpetuated by the false notion that a policy reducing CO2 emissions would ''clean the sky of carbon'' - as in soot. A policy that is at the same time so utterly pointless, yet highly costly and destructive.

The Fantasy of Detering Iranian Ambitions !

There are few foreign-policy positions more silly than the assertion, without context, that ''deterrance works.'' It is like saying air power works. Well, it worked for Kosovo; it didn't work over Vietnam. The idea that some military technique ''works'' is meaningless. It depends on the time, the circumstances, the nature of the adversaries. Yet a significant school of American ''realists'' remains absolutist on deterrence and is increasingly annoyed with those troublesome Israelis who are sowing fear, rattling world markets and risking regional war by threatening a preemptive strike to stop Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons. Sure, deterrence worked during 40 years of the Cold War but deterring Iran is fundamentally different. You could rely on the Soviets but not on Iran.

The reasons are obvious and threefold:
  1. The nature of this fetid regime. Did the Soviet Union in its 70 years ever deploy a suicide bomber? For Iran, as for other Jihadists, suicide bombing is routine. Iran's clerical regime rules in the name of a fundamental hate-filled religion for whom the hereafter offers the ultimate rewards. For Soviet communists--thoroughly militantly atheistic--such thinking was an opiate-laced fairy tale. For all its global aspirations, the Soviets were intensely nationalistic. The Islamic Republic sees itself as an instrument of its own brand of Shiite destiny--the messianic return of the ''hidden Imam.''
It's one thing to live in a state of mutual assured destruction with leaders of a historically    grounded, deeply here-and-now regime. It's quite another to be in a situation of mutual destruction with apocalyptic clerics who believe in the supremacy of the afterlife and holy war as the ultimate avenue to achieving it. To quote an al-Qaeda jihadist; ''You love life and we love death.''  Try deterring that!

     2.  The nature of the grievance. The Soviet quarrel with America was ideological. Iran's quarrel      with Israel is existential. The Soviets never proclaimed a desire to annihilate the American people. For Iran, the very existence of a Jewish state on Muslim land is a crime, an abomination, a cancer with which no negotiation, no coexistence, no accommodation is possible.

    3.   The nature of the target. America is 300 million; Israel, 8 million. America is a continental nation; Israel, a speck on the map, at one point 8 miles wide. Israel is a ''one bomb country.''  Its territory is so tiny, its population so concentrated that, as Iran's former President, Akbar Rafsanjani, has famously said, ''application of an atomic bomb would not leave anything in Israel but the same thing would just produce damages in the Muslim world.'' A tiny nuclear arsenal would do the job. They know about the Israel arsenal, that any exchange would destroy Israel instantly and forever, whereas the ummah--the Muslim world of 1.8 billion people whose redemption is the ultimate purpose of the Iranian revolution--would survive damaged but intact.

The Way I See It....the mullahs have a radically different worldview, a radically different grievance and a radically different calculation of the consequences of nuclear war. The confident belief that they are like the Soviets is a fantasy. That's why Israel is contemplating a preemptive strike. Israel refuses to trust its very existence to the convenient theories of Obama's comfortable analysts living 6000 miles from its Ground Zero.

What's Happening in German-Speaking Europe?

This blog prides itself in helping the avid follower of crucial issues, such as health issues, eco-myths and politics to understand the bigger picture. Scanning the globe, it appears that something's up in German-speaking Europe -- and I believe the media has missed it. Consider these:
  • Tehran is allegedly exploiting Austrian banks to bypass sanctions.
  • Deutsche Bank is under investigation for breaking sanctions.
  • German-Iranian trade is booming.
  • An Austrian and German (who called sanctions ''stupid'') were among five European Parliament members who insisted on visiting Iran.
  • A Der Speigel report has highlighted Germany as ''a focal point of procurement'' for Iran nuclear program.
  • According to The Washington Post, the vast majority of the 20,000 tourists who visit Iran for non-religious reasons come from Germany (or China).
Of course, none of these are ostensibly ''government'' activities -- and to be fair, both the German and Austrian governments have been clear on their support for strengthening sanctions. Nevertheless, is it possible they are conveying mixed signals?  For example: A German parliamentary delegation that refused to take its cue from the EP delegation and went ahead with its plans to visit Iran, met inter alia with Mohammad Javad Larijani (head of Iran's so-called High Council for Human Rights) -- the same Larijani who seemingly minutes after the departure of the U.N. Secretary General from Iran called his special rapporteur for human rights in Iran ''irrelevant.''  And what did Larijani tell the Bundestag members? He countered their human rights message by criticizing Europe for using it as ''a political tool''.

Meanwhile, German Foreign Minister Guido Westerwelle found time on the margins of the U.N. General Assembly to meet with his Iranian counterpart Ali Akhbar Salehi. This same EU-sanctioned Salehi -- who a week before embraced Assad the butcher of Damascus -- then chose Germany as his stop-over choice en route back to Tehran. It's reasonable to assume that Herr Westerwelle was in the know about this.

Now, unlike Iran, it doesn't matter to this blog whether he's heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual or asexual. This blog however does find it incredibly hypocritical of those Germans -- particularly an openly gay minister -- who think that gay rights are something that should be embraced at home, while ignored aboard. Especially when considering Dan Littauer's article about homosexuals in Iran where he quotes: The Iranian speaker of parliament equated gays with barbarism and questioned if the U.N. is seeking legalization of homosexuality in his country."

He goes on to note that: According to a report by Mehr News Agency, Mr Larijani shared with the audience the story of a meeting with one of the European foreign ministers, saying that, 'one of the ministers we met was a faggot. What should we have done? Should we have refused to meet with him (because of his homosexuality)? In the international arena, we have to pursue our national interests.'''. Larijani's comment was probably a reference to the visit by openly gay German foreign minister, Guido Westerwelle, to Tehran, in which he met with Iran's President Ahmadinejad (see photo above).

The Way I See It....Herr Westerwelle is conveniently in denial. His high station prevented him from having his balls cut off (or worse) in a Tehran back alley by Larijani's thugs from the phony Council of Human Rights. He was widely criticized at the time, for having not raising the plight of Gay and Lesbian citizens in Iran in his many meetings and deliberately leaving his partner in Germany as to avoid any potential conflicts.

Despite this downright disgusting attitude by this turd, Larijani, towards one of Europe's most respected leaders, Westerwelle and other politicians continue their dead-end dialoguing. As the private sector picks up this subtext from the political echelon, no wonder it's causing an apparent spillover into Europe's wider German-speaking sphere. This is what the media missed!

Fluoride Can Kill: Beware of Hidden Sources !

The dangers of Fluoride have become headlines in Queensland (Australia) newspapers this week as a parliamentary member of the ruling Liberal National Party (LNP), Jason Woodforth (photo), has called for removal of the chemical from the state's water supplies. Mr Woodforth said he had the backing of 31 LNP MPs for a rethink on the Labor government's misadvised and uninformed move in 2007 to add fluoride to water supplies. Mr Woodforth wants the ''mass medicating'' of Queenslander's water supplies to be fluoride-free by March. Of course he received the usual medio/dental spiel that he was ''irresponsible'' and there were benefits in fluoridation and ''the level used in the water supply is safe.''

I, myself, with great amount of biological and physiological knowledge from 6 years of professional schooling and over 40+ years experience in treating sick people always find it amazing when such supposed ''learned'' people in health organizations say that drinking in artificial fluoride (not natural fluoride - Calcium Fluoride CaF2) is a logical way to promote oral health. If anybody, even with a small knowledge of the workings of the body, actually sat down long enough to evaluated what is really going on, you would realize the stupidity of the whole exercise.

Just think, that glass of fluoridated water first enters your intestinal tract where it is absorbed into your blood stream to go far and wide touching and being incorporated into every tissue cell of your body and then some of it finally makes its way to infiltrate your tooth enamel to supposedly reduce cavities. Doesn't toothpaste and dental applications directly to your teeth make more sense to you? But did you know that you can get fluoride from many other sources that can add to the danger??

Many products contain fluoride, including tea, wine, soda, infant formula and foods with soy. ''Fluoride is a very powerful cardiac poison,'' warns Russell Blaylock, M.D., renowned neurosurgeon and author of The Blaylock Wellness Report.  ''And it's even more detrimental when it is combined with aluminum, he added. Aluminum is sometimes added as a clarifier to water supplies along with fluoride. He continues, ''The two combine to create a brain toxin that's powerful in incredibly small concentrations. Many babies are formula-fed. The most common form is soy, which is high in both fluoride and aluminum and when it's mixed with fluoridated tap water you're giving the baby a neurotoxic soup.'' Recent research has found that fluoride makes children more vulnerable to cancer. He says, ''Children under 6 who drink fluoridated water have four times the risk of developing cancer as well was having an IQ 10-15% less than other children at that age.''

It's not just not infants and children who are in danger. Dr Blaylock points out that fluoride accumulates in the body over a lifetime and is linked to Alzheimer's disease, Lou Gehrig's disease, hyperthyroidism, cancer and many other conditions. He says, ''We have a bio-accumulation of  this unnatural-type of  fluoride because its been in many water supplies for years so it's in the soil, plants -- anything you spray becomes contaminated with it, even the animals that eat the plants. He shockingly reveals, ''Fluoride, which has long been controversial as a water supply additive, doesn't even prevent cavities -- the reason given for adding it to the water supply in the first place. It has never been Evidence-Based! It was NOT tested in well-controlled studies. He emphasize that, ''even the American Dental Association has admitted that fluoridation in drinking water doesn't reduce the number of cavities and yet we have all of this strong evidence of toxicity, but it's just being ignored. It's criminal!!!''

The Way I See It....fluoridation i$ promotion by endor$ement. This money should be spent on promotion and research into the anti-caries properties of vanadium, vitamin K2, phosphorus, calcium, and magnesium plus diet advice, genetics and fostering ''good'' mouth bacteria (oral microbiological antibodies). Our diets make a bad situation even worse. It's found that people who are deficient in vitamin C and magnesium suffer the most from the toxicity of fluoride, and far too many people are deficient in both. It's about time the benefits of No Fluoridation be disseminated and Jason's crusade wins over the inherent criminal ignorance in today's medio/dental fraternity.

How can you limit the amount of fluoride in your body? The obvious way is to avoid fluoridated drinking water. Get a reverse-osmosis filter system installed, get a standing water-dispenser or buy fluoride-free bottled water. And if you use fluoride toothpaste or mouthwash, be sure to rinse thoroughly and make sure you and/or your child DOES NOT swallow it.

Some supplements can help protect against harmful effects of fluoride. Dr Blaylock suggestions include;
  • Magnesium malate (1000 mg with each meal to prevent aluminum absorption.)
  • Vitamin C  (1000 mg 3 times a day)
  • Vitamin D  (2000 IU daily)
  • Selenium  (200 mcg daily)
  • Curcumin (500 mg in 2 tablespoons of E.V.Olive Oil twice a day with meals.)

125 Scientist's Sobering Letter to Ban Ki-Moon !

Here's another Letter-Posting to reveal a serious matter concerning Climate Change, It has to do with policy actions that aim to reduce CO2 emissions that are unlikely to influence future climate. Many scientists are saying policies need to focus on preparation for, and adaptation to, all dangerous climatic events, however caused. So an open letter was sent the Secretary-General of the United Nations, H.E. Ban Ki-Moon last week. Here is the context of that letter.

Mr Secretary-General:

On November 9th this year you told the General Assembly: ''Extreme weather due to climate change is the new normal. Our challenge remains, clear and urgent; to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, to strengthen adaptation to...even larger climate shocks...and to reach a legally binding climate agreement by 2015. This should be one of the main lessons of Hurricane Sandy.''  On November 13th you said at Yale: ''The science is clear, we should waste no more time on that debate."

The following day, in Al Gore's ''Dirty Weather'' webcast, you spoke of ''more severe storms, harsher droughts, greater floods'', concluding with; ''Two weeks ago, Hurricane Sandy struck the eastern seaboard of the U.S. and a nation saw the reality of climate change. The recovery will cost tens of billions of dollars. The cost of inaction will be even higher. We must reduce our dependence on carbon emissions.''

We the undersigned, qualified in climate matters, wish to state that the current scientific knowledge does not substantiate your assertions.

The U.K. Meteorological Office recently released data showing that there has been no statistically significant global warming for almost 16 years. During this period, according to the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), carbon dioxide concentrations rose by nearly 9% to now constitute only 0,039% of the atmosphere. Global warming that has not occurred cannot have caused the extreme weather of the past few years. Whether, when and how atmospheric warming will resume is unknown. The science is unclear. Some scientists point out that near-term natural cooling, linked to variations in solar output, is also a distinct possibility.

The ''even larger climate shocks'' have mentioned would be worse if the world cooled than if it warmed. Climate changes naturally all the time, sometimes dramatically. The hypothesis that emissions of CO2 have caused, or will cause, dangerous warming is not supported by the evidence. The incidence and severity of extreme weather has not increased. There is little evidence that dangerous weather-related events will occur more often in the future. The U.N.'s own Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change says in its Special Report on Extreme Weather (2012) that there is ''an absence of an attributable climate change signal'' in trends in extreme weather losses to date. The funds currently dedicated to trying to stop extreme weather should therefore be diverted to strengthening our infrastructure so as to be able to withstand these inevitable, natural events, and to helping communities rebuild after natural catastrophes such as tropical storm Sandy.

There is no sound reason for the costly, restrictive public policy decisions proposed at the U.N. climate conference in Qatar. Rigorous analysis of unbiased observational data does not support the projections of future global warming predicted by computer models now proven to exaggerate warming and its effects. The NOAA ''State of the Climate in 2008'' report asserted that 15 years or more without any statistically-significant warming would indicate a discrepancy between observation and prediction. Sixteen (16) years without warming have therefore now proven that the models are wrong by their creators' own criterion.

Based upon these considerations, we ask that you desist from exploiting the misery of the families of those who lost their lives or properties in tropical storm Sandy by making unsupportable claims that human influences caused that storm. They did not. We also ask that acknowledge that policy actions by the U.N., or by the signatory nations to the UNFCCC, that to reduce CO2 emissions are unlikely to exercise any significant influence on future climate. Climate policies therefore need to focus on preparation for, and adaptation to, all dangerous climatic events however caused.

SIGNED BY: 125 Top Scientists in the various fields of concern in Climatology

The Way I See It....is what's the bet that what 125 experts say gets 125th of the coverage that the uninformed alarmism of the U.N. bureaucrat was given?  The media allows this stupidity to thrive.

UPDATE:    Lord Monckton was kicked out of the Doha Climate Summit after he informed the summiteers the planet hadn't warmed in 16 years.  So much for reasonable scientific dialogue.

Quantum Scientists Prove the Soul Exists !

A pair of world-renowned quantum scientists say they can prove the existence of the soul. For those not up on scope and theory of Quantum Mechanics let me explain. Quantum Mechanics is the fundamental physics of the microscopic world, the domain of atoms and photons and elementary particles. The theory was developed in the early 20th century by Planck, Einstein, Bohr and others. Though physics has advanced quite far in the decades since quantum mechanics was born, it remains the basic framework for our deepest insights into nature.

American Dr Stuart Hameroff and British physicist Sir Roger Penrose developed a quantum theory of consciousness asserting that our souls are contained inside structures called mcrotubules which live within our brain cells. Their idea stems from the notion of the brain as a biological computer ''with 100 billion neurons and their axonal firings and synaptic connections acting as information networks.''

Dr Hameroff, Professor Emeritus at the Departments of Anesthesiology and Psychology and Director of the Centre of Consciousness Studies at the University of Arizona and Sir Roger Penrose have been working on the theory since 1996. They argue that our experience of consciousness is the result of quantum gravity effects inside these microtubules -- a process they call orchestrated objective reduction (Orch-OR).

In a near-death experience the microtubules lose their quantum state, but the information within them is not destroyed. Or in layman's terms, the soul (the essence of life) does not die but returns to the universe. Dr Hameroff explained the theory at length in the Morgan Freeman-narrated documentary Through the Wormhole, which was recently aired in the US by the Science Channel. The quantum soul theory is now trending worldwide, thanks to stories published this week by The Huffington Post and the Daily Mail, which have generated thousands of readers comments and social media sharing.

''Let's say the heart stops beating, the blood stops flowing, the microtubules lose their quantum state,'' Dr Hameroff said. ''The quantum information within the microtubules is not destroyed, it just distributes an dissipates to the universe at large. If the patient is resuscitated, revived, this quantum information can go back into the microtubules and the patient says, 'I had a near-death experience.''' Then he summarized, ''In the event of the patient's death, it is possible that this quantum information can exist outside the body indefinitely -- as a soul.''

The Way I See It....quantum theory challenges our imaginations in new and unexpected ways. Quantum theory has a number of surprising implications for probability, the motion of particles, the properties of energy and the strange ''connectedness'' of separated systems. The ''weirdness'' of quantum theory is not an incidental feature. It is at the center of the theory, required to make a consistent, accurate physical theory of the microscopic world. It's worth for you to explore it further.

I am happy to see that the inner insights of  human beings over millennia which have formulated the spiritual basis for a soul that is neither created or destroyed and has permeated every religion....now has validation. Pity the poor atheists....they have a soul whether they like it or not!

NOTE: Quantum theory is a more encompassing term, including the wider application of quantum ideas. Quantum physics or mechanics is the most general term for the physics of the microscopic realm. In everyday usage, however, these terms are practically synonymous.

LABOR Sells Us Out For Muslim Votes !

Today an historic vote in the United Nations to allow Palestine to have Observer status has commenced. Unfortunately, after seeking a seat on the Security Council for years, spending millions of dollars ass-kissing the African nations to get their vote and massaging the South Americans and Europeans egos to finally got the position this year. Amazingly Australia's first vote as a Council member is distancing itself from the US and Israel and the values they represent by ABSTAINING.

Past Prime Minister, John Howard has branded Julia Gillard's backdown over her push to vote NO for Observer status as an ''embarrassment'' as the issue reignited internal criticisms within the government about the Prime Minister's judgement and leadership style. He described the cabinet backlash and caucus revolt as ''a very bad sign when you get rolled on something as important as this. I think it is pathetic for Australia to abstain on this.''  He added, ''We are meant to be striking a confident new pose and the first thing we do is abstain. I can't find another word than pathetic.''

Gillard's leadership came close to collapse three days ago after her cabinet refused to back her policy to vote against the UN resolution to give greater recognition to a Palestinian state. After initially going with her rightful instincts and ignoring the majority view, ten ministers spoke against her position in a long Cabinet debate. In the end, rather than face a humiliating defeat, Gillard relented and a crisis was averted, but only narrowly. I am not impressed by some of the reasons given for overturning the Prime Minister's decision -- not principle but political advantage, with reference to multiculturalism and its shifting demographics.

These pussies were afraid of being on the wrong side of history if they stood with the US and Israel against the rest of the anti-Semitic UN. They took the views of its members that the government was too pro-Israel and also because MPs in western Sydney, who are already fearful of losing their seats, are coming under pressure from constituents with a Middle East background. Read my previous posting, ''Stealth Jihad'' comes to Australia (May 18, 2011).  That is a very troubling sign for our future if our politicians sell their morality and cater to the wishes of a Muslim minority. Our country's further isolating the US and Israel internationally is already bad enough -- and dangerous.

But here's another of the real reasons to worry about giving Palestine added status at the UN: which is the Palestinian state?  Gaza, controlled by the pro-terrorist Ragbags Hamas? Or the Fatah-controlled West Bank under Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas? In the past, Australia has opposed Abbas's UN campaign as a pointless diversion from direct talks to settle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. At this stage, however, it might well be worth letting Abbas score a political victory at the UN -- particularly if it reinforces his viability among his own people. However, it violates the notion that the Israelis and Palestinians should negotiate a settlement themselves with neither side taking steps to predetermine the outcome. The danger, of course, is that benefits given to the ''moderate'' Abbas are later seized and exploited by Hamas.

Upgrading the Palestinian delegation's status will is actuality enable the Palestinians to launch a new campaign of diplomatic and legal attacks against Israel in various UN forums and elsewhere, particularly the International Criminal Court -- and to do so as an alternative to direst negotiations with Israel. Any fair-minded person would agree that the UN has a built-in bias against Israel, a country subject to more UN censure than every other country combined. ''It is pathetically sad that the government had gone to all the trouble to have a greater voice on the UN Security Council and on its first significant vote, not to say yes or no but say nothing'' said Malcolm Turnbull, opposition Minister.

The Way I See It....Labor has shamed itself. Good on Gillard for fighting against this self-serving betrayal of our allies and our values. Pity, though, her weakness. Speaking of weakness, I heard Abbas's speech to the UN this morning and the weakness in his proposal was that he did not once mention that he would stop the militants from firing missiles (over 800 since January) into Israel. Plus he quoted Anwar Sadat's treaty with Israel but said nothing about Sadat's sentiment about getting all Palestinians to recognise the right of Israel to exist.

Would Australians in 1970 have backed a deal to take in many Middle Eastern refugees and migrants had they been told up front that this would require changing our foreign policy to throw Israel under a bus, move away from the US, and back a move in the UN that suited the long-term plans of the pro-terrorist Hamas?  Is it going to get like the Swedish town of Malmo where 25% of the population has become a nest of Muslim scum that throw stones and cut hoses on the firefighters who come to their neighbourhood to put out fires. They are now all taking sick leave unless they get more police protection when attending fires in these ungrateful areas. Is this Australia's future too?

OMG! Tim Flannery's 100% Fantasy !

Timothy Flannery is an Australian mammalogist, palaeontologist, self-taught environmentalist and global warming activist (read fanatic). He was named Australian of the Year in 2007 and holds a Chair in Environmental Sustainability at Macquarie University and was unfortunately appointed, in 2011, Chief of the Climate Commission by the Australian Government. In an effort to qualify his 3-day-a-week job that pays him $180,000 a year he comes up with dire predictions and outlandish solutions to anthropogenic climate change. His controversial views include shutting down coal-fired power stations for electricity generation and suggesting that sulphur be dispersed into the atmosphere to help block the sun leading to global dimming, in order to counteract the effects of global warming.

The latest effort from this so-called ''chief climate commissioner'' was presented this week when I saw him interviewed on the Channel 10 Morning Show, that really took the cake with his absurd claim that Australia could be powered ''almost entirely by renewable energy.''  Oh yeah! Renewable energy in Australia now provides about 10% of our electricity. Sounds like we've got a running start? We've ''only'' got to expand it tenfold?  Except what douchebags like Flannery never tell you in all the headline flummery, is that the overwhelming majority (about 80%) of that comes from hydro-power. Any nobody's building dams anymore because of bans by the Greens and their Labor lackeys. Yes, that means barely 2 percent of Australia's total electricity comes from what the average person would think as ''renewable''....Wind and Solar.

That means even using his optimistic numbers for current wind and solar generation, we would have to increase our installations of wind and solar by at least forty times what thay are today to get 100% of our electricity from these two ''plentiful'' sources. (Hey, wasn't that what drove Spain into bankruptcy?)  But that's to produce today's power. Flannery's talking about some decades ahead, when our demands will pobably have doubled. So make that a 160-fold increase in windmills....and perhaps a half-a-million Aussies going mental with that low frequency Hum in their neighbourhood.

''You know, solar and wind could even be the cheapest sources of power for retail users by 2030,'' Flannery trumpeted, ''....as carbon prices rise."  Yes, the greatest half-truth of the climate propagandists. Make real power sources ridiculously, unnecessarily expensive and suddenly wind and solar become ''cheap.''  Funnily, Flannery has gone cold on geothermal power. A few years ago it was all he could talk about. He even invested in a Geothermal company and called it a ''relatively straightforward technology.''  He then called for the establishment of ''Geothermia'' -- a new city at the New South Wales-Sth Australia-Queenslnd border -- to take advantage of the location's abundance of natural gas and geothermal reserves.

The Way I See It....his arguement that such a city could be completely energy self-sufficient and would be a model for future city development worldwide is a pipedream. Actually, in a rare moment of honesty, in this week's interview, he said there were ''technical contraints'' -- ie. it doesn't work - and ''high exploration and development costs'' -- ie. that even if it did, it would be even more expensive than already grossly expensive wind and solar -- ''have to be overcome'' before geothermal became commercially viable. This is also from the man who, with his government largess, bought an expensive house at Coba Point on the Hawkesbury River (40 km north of Sydney) that's only accessible by boat. Critics have pointed out some hypocrisy in fact that it is quite close to the waterline if his predictions of a sea level rise are borne out.

All I can say, is Flannery and his Climate Commission are worse than a sick joke. They are an expensive fraud on every Australian brought to them by Prime Minister Julia Gillard and her climate minister henchman, Greg Combet.  You could only hope that they ''wake up'' one day to the fact that there hasn't been any rise in global warming in the last 16 years and stop wasting billions in trying to stop it.

A Letter From Joseph Goebbels to Obama !

I came across this insightful item from a Judy Morris, from Freedom Bunker. The sarcasm rings true about the nature of Obama's rule from Goebbel's own history and point of view.

Guten Tag...Herr Obama,
I realize receiving a letter from a time traveler can be disconcerting but bear with me because I'm here to tell you something special. In short: I am impressed. As a propagandist, you have achieved everything I set out to do and did. You soared to victory this month like a Bundesadler in a Leni Riefenstahl film. I'm amazed der Juden und der junge are so devoted to your cause, as it seems you are determined to extinguish them both. Of course, der Schwarzers will follow you to Russia (I mean Hell) and back. But what really impresses me is the blind faith with which more than half of America follows you. These are people who couldn't care less about politics, yet somehow they are in a trance. Why? Because just like mein Fuhrer you promised them you care. Amazing!! An entire generation of young men stand proudly behind you simply because you play basketball. And you're not even good at it!

In New York, a state that hasn't voted for a Republican candidate in almost 30 years I heard New Yorkers saying that they felt ''empowered'' voting for you. I asked many of them to explain your health care program and they had no idea. All they knew was their vote ''made a difference'' and ''that's what counts.''  These are people with the math skills of a 12 year-old. You made an entire nation love you merely because you were black while claiming you were hated for precisely that reason. You are the most brilliant (or is it, devious) Negro I have ever seen.  Instead of talking to world leaders and letting people see your penchant for mispronouncing their names, you go on women's talk shows.

I loved it when unemployment soared and you said it would've gone much higher without you. You kill the space program and devote the resources to making Muslims feel better about themselves. You tell those disgusting Zionists to go back to the borders of nearly a half century ago and tell them to leave Iran alone. You convinced anti-war liberals that it's OK to extend the Patriot Act AND create a ''kill list'' AND conduct drone-wars AND keep Guantanamo despite promising the opposite. Then your propaganda machine convinces the country it's your opponent who is a warmonger. I'm so proud!

When you dig the deepest debt any president ever has, you say it had to be done. The nation's young people will inherit this debt but you've convinced them that they don't need to care. You control more young minds than that Ronald McDonald character. When are you going to hand out the brown T-shirts? You have somehow convinced the Obama Youth that any fact that is ''divisive'' is not worth knowing. If someone points out a failure, you blame the previous administration and they blindly agree. You made politics about pop culture and this Dumb Community worships you. You've turned them into dependent infants.

I haven't seen propaganda this effective since (your idol) Franklin Roosevelt. He managed to convince post-Depression America that it was the government's job to make things right. Roosevelt instilled in the lower classes a permanent reliance on government that persists today and will go well past the Second Civil War of 2020. Opps...you didn't hear that from me! I see Fox News appears to be the only responsible media pointing this out and asking questions, but only old people are watching and they will die shortly. Old people ask too many questions. As you well know Barack the most important part of good propaganda is not caring about the truth.

The masses are dumm Kopfs, uneducated fools who can't think for themselves. Just look at that 2011 Pew poll where blacks, young people and liberals all admitted to more positive feelings about ''socialism'' than ''capitalism''. They want the government to solve their problems. Adolf saw that Germans needed a fascist dictatorship, I'm sure you can find a more modern term for it, where one great leader chooses who will run the economy. Your acceptance speech reminded me of all my hard work getting people to accept a hope for change when I told them, ''Germany will again start making history.'' Imagine the joy I felt when, 80 years later, I heard you say,'''We have fought our way back and we know in our hearts that for the United States of America.....the best is yet to come!''  You are the black eagle on my coat-of-arms and I now know America is in good hands.

      Auf Wiedersehen und Gute Nacht!
