Elliot Rodger, son of a Hollywood director, killed six people last week and was immediately recruited for the usual popular causes. Writers' Festival supporter Tara Moss, for instance, signed him up on behalf of women who see misogyny everywhere. ''This is a man who thought that feminism was evil because it meant that women could control who they had sex with,' she preached in a radio station interview.
Others have recruited Rodger for the predictable anti-guns campaign. Like this idiot, Richard Flanagan, pet novelist of Greens voters, said, ''We have to be thankful -- we've got gun laws that mean these sort of people can't inflict as much damage as he did.'' Really? Rodger killed three of his victims with a knife and a hammer and tried to run another down with his car. Should we blame the National Knife Collectors Association also? This is not a good case for bleeding-heart liberals: The killer was an immigrant, person of color (Eurasian) and hardly used his gun. No one of the Democratic Party could frame him as a Republican, either, which spoiled the fun of leftist media which left them with only the boring and frighteningly insoluble.
Rodger was another fruitcake, or if you like, simply deranged and had been in the hands of therapists since he was eight years old - long before puberty. What we have is yet another mass murder committed by a schizophrenic - just like those of Seung-Hui Cho, Jared Loughner, James Holmes, and Adam Lanza. Yes, they all used guns. Also, they were all males. They were all college-aged....not distinctive characteristics, but they shared that same disease that only 1% of the population has. Also, that's the thing about schizophrenics - they don't think they're sick. They think the lava lamp that's talking to them is sick. So the taking of his Risperidone, an anti-psychotic, was ignored.
Rodger's ''manifesto'' reads like Nikolai Gogol' ''Diary of a Madman'' - generally recognized as the first description of schizophrenia. It is a tale of increasing delusions, paranoia, hallucinations, and wild, grandiose self-assessments. In other words, it is a slightly less whiney version of Obama'a first inaugural address. (How many pages does your manifesto have to be before we can force you to take your medication?)
Here's some of Rodger's grand ideas he wrote for himself:
-- ''I saw myself as highly intelligent and magnificent person who is meant for great things''
-- '' Becoming a millionaire at a young age is what I am meant for.''
-- ''I m like a god!''
-- ''This was the moment when a rise of oceans began to slow and the planet began to heal.''
(No - Wait - The last one was Obama.)
Rodger's twisted mindset saw every female as a ''tall, hot blonde''. He viewed all couples as his sworn enemies causing his suffering. Describing a visit to Santa Monica Pier he lamented: ''I saw young couples everywhere. Life was too unfair to me.'' The ''cruelty'' of women apparently even consisted of the failure of any ''tall, hot blondes'' to approach Rodger and ask for sex. He would walk around for hours ''in the desperate hope that I might possibly cross paths with some pretty young girl who would be attracted to me.'' (Cue the Looney Toons Theme again!)
The Way I See It.....this was a murderous spree that can't be rationalized or fixed with a simple gun law or a #YesAllWomen campaign on social media. Forget blaming the GUN, blame America's reluctance to strictly monitor these people. A protocol should be in place countrywide to: (1) force nutjobs to take their medication, (2) if that fails ''brand them'' as dangerous with a Red Flag marker (like in airports) so they can't get hold of firearms, (3) and ultimately tell the civil libertarians to Piss-Off and reopen the Sanatoriums to remove them from society and house the uncooperative and dangerous repeat offenders.
It's hard to feel sorry for a mass murder, but it was cruel to Elliot Rodger to allow him to refuse medication and turn himself into a monster. It was beyond cruel to his innocent victims -- as well as the other victims of this string of psychopathic killers. But left-wing do-gooders are more worried about ''stigmatizing'' the mentally ill (you might hurt their self-esteem), than the occasional mass murder. WAKE UP AMERICA and get these protocols in place now!

A wild claim from California Governor Jerry Brown, reported by the Lame-Stream Media, without any scepticism by the L.A. Times. It was a Looney Toons moment.
Brown's remarks came a day after the release of two studies finding that a slow-motion and irreversible collapse of a massive cluster of glaciers in Antarctica has begun and could cause sea levels to rise worldwide by four feet within 200 years.
''If that happens, the Los Angeles airport's going under water.'' Brown (photo right) told reporters at a presentation of his revised state budget proposal in Los Angeles. He added ''So is the San Francisco airport.'' Really? Anthony Watts checks the evidence - and finds Brown is talking pure Looney Toons.
Ok, let's do the math, first look at the sea level rate from the Los Angeles tide gauge operated by NOAA:
At the rate of 0.83mm/yr sea level rise seen at Los Angeles (from the NOAA graph Above) it would take 45903.6 years to reach 125 feet! We'd be in a new ice age by then and sea levels would be falling. So at current rates.....Brown's claim is bogus. But he's saying the study says it will be due to Antarctic's western ice sheet melting. The NASA says of this study paper:
Even as Rignot and his excited colleagues suggest that loss of the Amundsen Sea embayment glaciers appears inevitable, it remains extremely difficult to predict exactly how this ice loss will unfold and how long it will take. A conservative estimate is that it could take several centuries at least. The region contains enough ice to raise global sea levels by 4 feet (1.2 meters).
Four feet....and LAX is 125 feet above sea level. SFO airport is also mentioned by Brown...and its elevation is 13 feet above sea level. Governor Brown is a gross error with his claims.

Once again, Islam does again what it's always done, in spite of saying it's a peaceful, compassionate religion. NOT! I think most of you have already heard the terrible news that a Sudanese judge sentenced a pregnant Christian woman to hang for apostasy after she refused to convert to Islam, despite appeals by Western embassies for the so-called compassion and respect religious freedom.
Here's a bit of background on the case. Born to a Muslim father, the woman was convicted under the Islamic sharia law that has been in force in Sudan since 1983 and outlaws conversions on pain of death. Meriam Yahia Ibrahim, 27, a medical doctor, is eight months pregnant and married to a Christian national from southern Sudan, Daniel Wani, who became an American citizen in 2005. You'll remember that South Sudan was separated from Sudan in 2011 with lots of the usual raping, murdering and pillaging. Sudan is widely perceived as one of the most corrupt countries in the world, ranked 174th for its performance by Transparency International.
''We gave you three days to recant but you insist on not returning to Islam,'' shouted the judge, not taking into the count that Meriam's Muslim father deserted her mother and her when she was just only six years old so her Ethiopian Christian mother brought her up, logically, in the Orthodox Christian faith. ''I sentence you to be hanged,'' Judge Abbas Al-Khalifa said to her, and adding insult to injury he addressed her by her deadshit father's Muslim name. ''I also sentence you to 100 lashes for adultery!'' This part is the height of Islamic stupidity. You see under Sudan's interpretation of sharia, a Muslim woman cannot marry a non-Muslim man and any such relationship is regarded as adulterous.
Ms Ibrahim reacted without emotion when Abbas delivered the verdict at a court in Khartoum. She calmly told the judge: ''I am a Christian and I never committed apostasy.'' About 100 people, including Western embassy representatives, were in the court to hear the ludicrous sentence. They issued a statement saying, ''We call upon the government of Sudan to respect the right to freedom of religion, including one's right to change one's faith or beliefs. That right is included in Sudan's 2005 interim constitution as well as in human rights law.''
Presently, Meriam is clinging to her faith, even though her country has condemned her and her husband's country - the U.S. - has thus far abandoned her to an unjust death sentence. Her attorney, Osman Mubarak, said in last Sunday's New York radio interview that his client still has not received any firm assistance from the U.S. government beyond Obama's usual empty declarations, even after the case received a huge amount of international media attention.
The Way I See It.....there is some hope that this sentence will be corrected on appeal. One of Ms Ibrahim's lawyers, Mohanad Mustafa, told AFP following the sentence that the defence will first go to the appeals court, then the supreme court and, if necessary, to the Constitutional Court because he believes the criminal code prohibition against apostasy violates the constitution. Mubarak added that the U.S. has not provided his client any firm assistance other than sending a monitor to the latest court case.
Another twist on this shameful Islamic nonsense, was the revelation what will happen to her son that will be born before she is killed. Mubarak explained the child will go to Ibrahim's Muslim father and not to her husband Daniel. Also, because Wani is a Christian, that child will be named with her deadshit father's name, not with Daniel's name. Mabarak said he believes the U.S. will ultimatwely step in: ''They will not allow their citizens to stay in this bad situation.'' Last week, multiple U.S. lawmakers pressed President Obama to grant Meriam asylum. Only time will tell.

Conservative American radio talk show host Michael Savage (photo right) was savage in his assessment to Pope Francis' recent comments on ''spreading-the-Wealth'' similar to Barack Obama's mantra to keep the class warfare pot boiling.
On his Friday show last week, he said if Pope Francis wants income redistribution he should start with his own Church. He said he would bid $1 million dollars for Michelangelo's famous painting on the Sistine Chapel or his Pieta stature of Mary with the crucified Jesus on her lap. ''The reason I'm offering that money to the Pope and the Vatican is so they can redistribute the wealth that begins in the Vatican itself.'' Savage said.
Savage said he was making a point that there is vast wealth within the Catholic Church, including priceless works of art and artefacts besides major shares in global companies. He added, ''Their stash of gold ingots could be sold for redistribution purposes very quickly and start the ball rolling.''
This shock and vehemence all started when Francis told, no, demanded, a group of U.N. delegates, including Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon, that they should urge world governments to back ''the legitimate redistribution of economic benefits by the state, as well as indispensable cooperation between the private sector and civil society.'' Savage's strident response: ''It's Karl Marx in a papal outfit !''
He noted that Francis is from Argentina, home to liberation theology along with much of Latin America, in the 1960s and '70s. And although Francis himself never practiced liberation theology, ''he was certainly shaped by it,'' Savage elaborated. This warped off-shoot of Marxism, liberation theology focuses on the plight of the poor, though critics have long claimed it is Christianised Marxism. Savage said he already pays 39.7 percent federal tax and 13 percent state tax in California as various local taxes. ''But that's not enough for the pope or Obama or the other Marxists deadshits on the planet,'' he said. ''How does the pope differ from the Occupy Movement?''
The Catholic Church opposed Marxism from the beginning until this pope. Though various Catholic priests throughout Central and South America have championed liberation theology, the Vatican itself has opposed what it has termed Marxist elements riddled through the movement. Savage accused Francis of violating the ''separation of church and state'' and warned he's heard the same talk from Karl Marx, Vladimir Lenin and Leon Trotsky. The ideas and actions of these men brought deaths to millions of people. (Check out my posting ''A Manifesting of Karl Marx's Manifesto'' on March 27th, 2013 for a detail description of this madman's proposals for a new society).
Savage also suggested Francis is trying to unify the masses in South America an Africa and get the haves to rise up against the have-nots. Francis has frequently lashed out at the injustices of capitalism and the global economic system that he foolishly says excludes much of humanity. He called for the United Nations to promote a ''worldwide ethical (?) mobilization'' of solidarity with the poor in a new spirit of generosity.
The Way I See It....Pope Francis wants a more equal form of economic progress that he feels can be had through, as he says, ''the legitimate redistribution of economic benefits by the state, as well as indispensable cooperation between the private sector and civil society.'' He had a similar message to the World Economic Forum in January where he denounced trickle-down economic theories as unproven and naïve, which provoked criticism that he was a Marxist at heart.
Francis denied he's Marxist and says he spent many years in Argentina battling Marxist excesses of liberation theology that has turned his country into an economic basket case. All he wants, he says, ''is the U.N. to promote development goals that attack the root causes of poverty and hunger, to protect the environment and ensure dignified labor for all.'' Can't argue with that, I guess that is what most of us would want for our fellow Earthlings, but stay away from anything looking like Marxism......it's a Killer!

The Beverly Hills Hotel complex, swank watering hole of Hollywood's elite, and owned by the Sultan of Brunei, is a ghost town!
The sultan recently imposed Sharia law on the citizens of this small country in southeast Asia with a population of less than 500,000. The law includes the punishment of death for any who engages in homosexuality or adultery. Jay Leno, one of the many celebrities attending a rally in front of the hotel, said, ''It's people being stoned to death. Hello!''
Meanwhile, Bill Maher, another member of the almost-all-Hollywood left, discussed the kidnapping of mostly Christian Nigerian schoolgirls by a radical Muslim group. Having a decided grip on reality, something most of his celebrity bedfellows seemed oblivious to, stated, ''There's no mention here of connecting this to the religion (of Islam), which is what I am seeking to do because I think that's the elephant in the room.'' Maher, unlike the Hollywood lefties protesting at the hotel, insists Islam itself, not merely Shariah, is the issue. He added expressively, ''I'd like to stick to those jihadist bastards !''
Ayaan Hirsi Ali is a Somali-born critic of Islam. She is one of today's most admired authors and controversial political figures and the author of the book, ''INFIDEL: My Life''. She, too, argues from first-hand experience, that Islam itself mandates a second-class status for women. She reserves her objection not only to Sharia law but also Islam itself, in all its Dark Ages baggage. She thinks reform may be possible, but receives death threats and is the subject of a fatwa - a religious decree that commends that she be killed, so she shouldn't be holding her breath.
Hirsi Ali was recently invited to speak a Brandeis University, where she would receive an honorary degree. But after Hirsi Ali received the invitation, the Council of Arab Islamic (filth) Relations sent Brandeis a list of ''offensive'' things Hirsi Ali said about Islam. Brandeis, instead of ''sticking-it-back'' to this ratbag organization listing the offensive things Islam does, retracted her invitation. The university called some of Hirsi Ali's opinions ''inconsistent with Brandeis University's core values'' Ass-kissing must be on the top of the list.
Brandeis had no problem bestowing an honorary degree on playwright Tony Kushner, who admits he has ''a problem with the idea of a Jewish state.'' And Archbishop Desmond Tutu spoke at Brandeis despite having characterized Israel as an ''apartheid state.'' Brandeis' tolerance of a variety of opinion, apparently, doesn't apply to those critical of Islam; the world's greatest threat to Western education.
Hollywood's reluctance to raise questions about Islam amazes me because of the large majority of Jewish people working in that industry. This kow-towing to Islam and it's treatment of women is really about money $$$, or more specifically to use of Arab oil money to help finance films. Matt Damon's anti-fracking movie, ''Promised Land'', was wholly financed by Image Nation Abu Dhabi, a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media, the state media company owned by the United Arab Emirates with the objective to protect America's Arab oil dependence. Thankful, Matt's movie Bombed !
The Way I See It.....the phrase that ''jihad is a peaceful struggle'' - it really means ''struggle'' - literally it means to bring the soul into line with the teachings of the Koren and the will of the law. But it's not the only meaning of jihad or even the principal meaning. Throughout Islamic history, and Islamic theology and law, you have violent jihad being the primary understanding of what it means - this collective responsibility of the Islamic community to wage war against non-Muslims until they either convert or submit as second-class citizens under Islamic rule.
Those of you who have been following my blog posts will remember that I wrote a two-part series in early April, last month, entitled ''Is Moderate Islam an Oxymoron ?'' describing the dilemma many Muslims are in by following the Koran and hadith strictly.
How long can Hollywood's Jews ignore the gutless injustice Brandeis displayed toward the brave Ayaan Hirsi Ali? How long can the Hollywood left avoid the broader and more profound issue of the suppression and subjugation of Muslim ad Arab women? The moral relativists of Hollywood may have to make a moral judgement about culture and values to finally clear their consciences.

Here's the British Guardian's Nick Cohen on the ''fear of describing Boko Haram as it really is.''
|Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekan|
A desire for sexual supremacy accompanies their loathing of knowledge. They are best described as a bunch of ignorant dickheads that can only think with their male member. So, they take 223 schoolgirls as slaves and force them to convert to their sick version of Islam. They either rape them or sell them on for 10 Pnds or so to new masters. The girls are the victims of slavery, child abuse and forced marriage. As you can see, English does not lack plain words to describe the foulness of the crimes in Nigeria, and no doubt they would be used in the highly improbable event of western soldiers seizing and selling women.
Yet, read parts of the lame-stream press and you enter a world of euphemism. They have not been enslaved but ''abducted'' or ''kidnapped'', as if they would be released unharmed when the parties have negotiated a mutually acceptable ransom. Writers are typing with one eye over their shoulder; watching their backs to make sure that no one can accuse them of ''demonising that other religion.'' Turn from today's papers to the theoretical pages of left-wing journals and you will find that the grounds for understanding Boko Haram more and condemning it less were prepared last year.
Without fully endorsing Boko Haram, of course, socialist explained that it finds ''resonance in the hearts of many poor and dispossessed people'', who are revolted by ''the corruption and flamboyant lifestyle of the elites''. Islam is foolishly recast as a rational reaction to local corruption and the global oppression of ''neoliberalism'', one of those conveniently vague labels that can mean just about anything...
''The mechanical denunciation of the West,'' wrote the French political theorist Pascal Bruckner in 2010, ''forbids the western bloc, which is eternally guilty, to judge or combat other systems, other states, and other religions. Our pas crimes command us to keep our mouths closed.'' He might have been writing today, so persistent is the belief that the West is the root cause of the only oppression worth mentioning. If Occidentalism was absurd in the past, it's preposterous now. Boko Haram is not reacting to western interventionism in Nigeria, for there is none.
Meanwhile, we are moving faster than anyone expected to a new age in which China will be the world's largest economy. For the first time since the 18th century, the dominant power will not allow internal opposition or the Chinese equivalent of the campaigns on behalf of the victims of its foreign policy that we saw in Britain, France and the US in the last 200 years. We have not begun to understand the turn for the worse the cause of global human rights is taking as empires shift.
The enslavement of so many girls - girls who were simply seeking an education - has finally stirred some interest in the Politically Correct West But the murder of schoolboys couldn't:
In February, Boko Haram militants murdered 59 Christian schoolboys. They separated the boys from the girls, telling the girls to abandon school and get married before sending them home, and then slaughtered the boys. That killing spree was just one dozens of attacks on schools, houses of worship and random civilians.
The Way I See It......Corruption, cowardice, incompetence, betrayal - a disgusting failure of governance has given Nigeria a government unable to defend schoolgirls from evil.
Another evil is the fact that it was just last year that Obama pushes funds for Islamists which in turn use it to intimidate and murder their Christian victims. Obama's Democrats make up the ''Islamist Apologist Choir'' described by Cinnamon Stillwell, an American political blogger, who don't sing solely on behalf of Chenhnya, Yemin or the Brotherhood's Muslims. Some of that choir's most dreadful caterwauling is in support of Nigeria's yet-undesignated terrorists, you guessed it, Boko Haram. The choir stalls are located in the U.S. State Department, which not only refuses to designate this jihadist filth as a Foreign Terrorist Organization, but maligns and defames Boko Haram's Christian victims, as well.
