Truth Or Consequences !

Mitt Romney, at the Republican National Convention last week, showed he and his running mate, Paul Ryan, are ready to take on Barack Obama and his sleazy, mud-slinging campaign. But he still needs to tackle the much harder job of convincing those Americans who so emotionally invested their hearts in President Obama four years ago, that it is time to accept that his presidency did not work, let go of him and move on. Being a President of the U.S.of A. is not a job for an Amateur.

Who are these people who are disappointed in Mr Obama but just can't yet bring themselves to quit him. For the blacks it was an inspiring moment in 2008, so many have awaited so long, and now want the "feeling" to last a bit longer as well as the welfare checks. Then there are "Obama's Zombies", those leftist-indoctrinated university students without a thought in their brainwashed heads about the future.

Let's not forget the Jews. Even after Socialist regime after Socialist regime in the past 125 years has decimated their numbers and with the threat of annihilation from Islamic nut jobs they gravitate in obscene numbers to putting this Muslim-raised neoMarxist in for another term. Also perhaps its their latent guilt for looking down on "Negroes" for so long that they gain sort of some redemption through voting this "schwartzer" in again. And don't get me started on Mr Obama allowing illegal Hispanics to get amnesty and thereby counting on their happy relatives to naturally vote for him.

To win reelection in 2012, Barack Obama must divert the country's attention from his record of incompetence and amateurism. He doesn't want to remind people that America lost its Triple-A Credit rating on his watch -- a downgrade that I call a firing offense.

Obama doesn't want to remind people of his erratic stand on illegal immigration, which has swung wildly between deportations -- removing nearly 400,000 illegal foreigners in each of the last 3 years -- to now a policy of virtual amnesty

Obama doesn't want to remind business people of his mocking "You didn't build that," speech with reference to people who succeed believing it might have something to do with their intelligence and/or hard work. Insinuating that government is the root of the success.

Obama doesn't want to remind you that he drafted 613 new Federal Regulations in the first 33 months of his presidency and because 129 of those regulations will each cost the economy more than $100 million a year. He knows a bankrupt America becomes a weak, second-rate America.

Obama doesn't want to remind people that he was for lower taxes before he was for higher taxes; that he was for forcing Catholic-affiliated institutions to provide contraceptive and abortion insurance before he was against forcing them to go against their religious principles.

Remember when he was for bringing the country together before he was for dividing it along rich and poor lines; that he was for a grand bargain with the Republicans over the debt ceiling before he was against it; that he was for energy independence before he rejected completing the Keystone Pipeline; that he was in favor of extending an olive branch to the mullahs in Iran before he was against it....

The Way I See It....Mitt Romney will have to remind the American people that Barack Obama is the Amateur-in-chief with a highly motivated Socialist agenda that will change the founding fathers dream for America's into a nightmare.  Beware what you wish for.

Barack Obama's Un-Holy Trinity (Mentors of Ill-Repute #3)

MENTOR #3  Reverend Jeremiah Wright

Until Barack Obama married Michelle Robinson in 1991, when he was 30 years old, his most significant adult relationship, after leaving his beloved Professor Bell at Harvard, was with Jeremiah Wright. His connection with Wright ran long and deep, and went back further than has been generally reported. It started in the summer of 1985, well before Obama joined Wright's congregation, Trinity United Church of Christ, where the pastor's sermons on Black Liberation Theology encouraged victimization mentality among his black parishioners.

When Reverend Wright and Trinity made headlines during the 2008 presidential race, most white Americans had never heard of Black Liberation Theology. According to Anthony Bradley, professor of theology at The Kings College in New York City, Black Liberation Theology asserts "life for blacks in America has been in the past and will be in the future a life of being victimized by the oppression of whites. In today's terms, it is the conviction that, forty years after the Civil Rights Act, conditions for blacks have not substantially changed."

One of the pillars of Obama's home church, is "economic parity". On its website Trinity claims that God is not pleased with America's economic "mal-distribution." Among all of the controversial comments by Jeremiah Wright, the idea of massive wealth redistribution is the most alarming. Professor Bradley continues, "The code language 'economic parity' is nothing more than channeling the twisted economic views of Karl Marx. Black Liberation theologians have explicitly stated a preference for Marxism as an ethical framework for the black church because Marxist thought is predicated on a system of oppressor class (whites) versus victim class (blacks).

Echos of Jeremiah Wright's Marxist ideology can be found in many of Obama's remarks. For instance, when Obama says, "I think when you spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody," he is channeling Rev Wright. This should come as no surprise, since Obama''s formative years when his core beliefs were taking shape, he first had Frank Davis, then professor Derrick Hall and with  Jeremiah Wright's overlapping his influence on him. Wright became far more than a religious and spiritual mentor to Obama; he was his substitute father, life coach and political inspiration wrapped in one package.

At each step of Obama's career, Wright was there with practical advice and counsel. Wright encouraged Obama to make a career in politics, and he offered to hook him up with members of his church who had money and connections. After Obama lost the congressional election to Bobby Rush and Michelle talked about divorcing him, a despondent Barack went to Wright for help. "Pick yourself up!" Wright exhorted him, "Pick yourself up!" It would be no exaggeration to say Jeremiah was the person who fulfilled Obama's father-hunger, repaired his fractured ego and prepared him to run for president.

As a result of his stirring, primetime keynote speech at the 2004 Democratic Convention, Obama became an overnight celebrity. His memoir, Dreams of My Father, which had languished on remainder piles in bookstores rocketed to the top of the best seller list. Suddenly wealthy (his current net worth is around $10.5 million), he and Michelle donated $22,500 to the Trinity United Church in 2006. The following year, as he prepared to throw his hat into the presidential ring, he was still a Trinity congregant, and attended services where Rev Wright delivered poisonous sermons against whites, Jews and America. Why did Obama remain a member of Trinity? Did he agree with what Wright said from the pulpit? And if not, how could he sit there and listen to such Marxist rubbish, hairbrained ideas and outright bigotry?

"How can we reconcile this church membership...with the fact of Obama's own family -- his white mother, grandmother and grandfather?'', black writer, Shelby Steele wrote in A Bound Man, his brilliant analysis of Obama's racial identity. "It was not a 'Black Value System' that prepared Obama so well for the world. Nor was it 'black community' or 'black family'. It was not a black anything. One could easier argue that his good luck was to be born into a white 'family community' and 'value system.' And in fact, isn't his success, his ease in the American mainstream, due to more to assimilation than to blackness? Isn't his great advantage over other blacks precisely his exposure from infancy on to mainstream culture? And doesn't it follow that assimilation might be a very reasonable strategy for black uplift? Correspondingly, doesn't Obama's success make the precise point that 'blackness' is a dead end?"

The Way I See It....when it comes to dealing with the inconvenient truth about Barack Obama's deep-rooted relationship with Jeremiah Wright you have to think what similar blacks were doing as well. I find many liberals argue that "buppies" (young, black urban professionals) like Obama flocked to Sunday services at Trinity in order to assuage their feelings of guilt about being better off than the majority of their fellow African-Americans. Sitting in the pews of Trinity, they could shout Amen. brother! when declared: "How do I tell my children about the African Jesus who is not the guy we see in the picture of a blond-haired guy in the Bible? 

Wright had the reputation of a militant guy who provided a kind of vicarious militance for Chicago's black elites. So they they could get a dose of Marxist militance on Sunday and go back home and feel pretty good about doing their part for the black movement. Additionally, Michelle Obama enjoyed going to Trinity Uniting Church because she wanted to associate with those Transcendent black elites with such enormous wealth, power and influence that even white folks have to genuflect. Wright sums it up by saying, "The church was an integral part of Barack's politics, because he needed that BLACK base!"  So now we have a well-mentored, anti-American and Marxist in the White House who is determined to make CHANGES so there's no HOPE for a democratic future.

Barack Obama's Un-Holy Trinity (Mentors of Ill-Repute #2)

MENTOR #2 :  Professor DERRICK BELL

After graduating from Columbia University in New York City in 1982, Barack Obama takes a job with Chicago based group called Developing Communities Project. He easily finds and mingles with fellow Marxists in his circle of acquaintances. By 1985 he interacts with a network of well-to-do Jewish business people with communist leanings and is introduced to Tom Ayers, the CEO of  a Fortune 500 company, Consolidated Edison. Obama finds him strangely fascinating for being a rich corporate head with serious communist beliefs. Ayers and his wife takes this young communist sympathizer under their wing and then arrange to have him enrolled at Harvard in spite of his poor grades at Columbia University

In 1988, Barack Obama, now 26 years old, begins has studies at Harvard Law School, his tuition being looked after by Tom and Mary Ayers. Tom advised Barack to study constitutional law, explaining that every good communist needs to find the weaknesses in a country's constitution before you can destroy or change it. Harvard, as with most universities, is populated by 95% Left-leaning academic scum. Obama is in his element and meets and is taught by his next mentor, Derrick Bell.

In a short while, Barack Obama became close or closer to Professor Bell than he ever was to Jeremiah Wright. Obama didn't merely sit in the pews absorbing Wright's anti-American filth, for Derrick Bell. No, he stood up and was filmed at a student rally praising the professor, shouting, "Open up your hearts and minds to the words of Professor Derrick Bell." The footage also shows Obama hugging his beloved professor. Here's what those students would be opening their hearts and minds to. (Note: Not surprisingly this film was hidden during the 2008 campaign.)

Derreck Bell is a close associate of Jeremiah Wright, a man who has been quoted by Jeremiah Wright regularly. This is a man who posited that the civil rights movement was too moderate because it accepted the status quo, and believed that the entire legal and constitutional system had to be transformed in radical fashion. This is a man so extreme that he wrote a story in 1993 in which he posited that white Americans would sell black Americans into slavery to aliens to relieve the national debt, and the Jews would go along with it.  Barack didn't stand a chance with this kind of idealogy.

He then embraced the racially charged cause that the professor instigated. Both Obama and Bell demanded that Harvard hire professors on the basis of race. The Obama-Bell connection is the latest in a pattern of Barack's associations with individuals who promoted a racially divisive America. In 2008, the American public became mesmerized with Obama's Hope & Change retoric and dreamed an Obama presidency would usher in a post-racial era. That never materialized. Instead, Derrick Bell's racial world view is now manifesting in the policies of the Obama administration, particularly in Eric Holder's Justice Department, even if most in the media have failed willingly to cover them.

The Way I See It....Bell did more than advocate for race-based hiring. He was perhaps the worst Johnny Appleseed of a nasty racialist legal theory called Critical Race Theory.  Critical Race Theory, in a nutshell, argues that the law is a weapon of the whites to oppress "people of color." It argues for "structural racism" -- the idea that American institutions are aligned against the blacks. Critical Race Theory does not view the law as applying equally to all Americans, but advocates for racially unfair implementation of the law to correct past injustices. It sounds like a lot of whinning victimhood to me.

Most of the crackpot racial grievance you hear today has a philosophical foundation in Professor Bell's Theory. It is a counter-American, collectivist, neoMarxist idea. Bell's history might be insignificant if he kept it to himself. But he didn't. He used his professorshop to inseminate this worldview to his students -- and as a mentor to Obama, who later used their teaching posts to bring Bell's views to the next generation. Race relations in America are worse off because too many people followed Obama's administration's example.

MENTOR # 1 :  FRANK MARSHALL DAVIS

Mentors matter. Any study of any president starts with mentors. We all know that. And yet, why have we ignored this mentor to this particular president?  Well, the answer is clear from a new book written by Paul Kengor, Ph.D, boldly entitled "The Communist": because no president in all of American history has ever had a mentor as radical as Frank Marshall Davis. No president--ever--has had a mentor who was a literal card-carrying member of the U.S. Communist Party (member #47544). This obviously ought to merit our attention; this book provides that attention. It's scandalous that it would take four years into Obama' presidency for a book like this to be published. It's a sign of the woeful liberal bias and delusion by the world's "journalists" and "biographers."

Davis's joined the Party in the early 1940's and his first major job was writing columns for the Chicago Star in the later part of that decade. He was very anti-American, pro-Soviet and pro-Red China and constantly bashed Wall Street, Big Oil, profits, General Motors, GOP tax cuts, and the wealthy millionaires. He called for taxpayer funding of "universal healthcare" and FDR-style "public works projects".  In a November, 1946 column, Davis wrote, "I'm tired of being hit with those double meaning words like 'sacred institutions' and 'the American way of life' which our flag-waving lukewarm liberals hurl at us day and night." This is strikingly similar to Obama's quoting "Frank" in Dreams from My Father. There Obama quoted him saying : "They'll train you so good, you'll start believing what they say about equal opportunity and the American Way and all that shit."

Besides trashing the American Way, he championed Russian foreign policy, and caught the sight of the FBI with such statements as; "I admire Russia for wiping out an economic system which permitted the rich to exploit and beat gold from the millions of plain people...I honor the Red nation." (1947) He became a national security threat with a 600 page file, regularly re-certified on the Security Index. That's a very serious thing, meaning that in the event of war he'll be placed under immediate arrest. With a mentor like that, Barack Obama should have had trouble getting a security clearance for a standard, entry-level government job. Instead, Americans elected him right into the Oval office!

In June, 1959, Frank Davis moved to Hawaii and settled in a section of Waikiki, close by the University of Hawaii. He wrote for local newspapers and for extra income set up a photoshop on the premises specializing in glamour (exotic) photography. Ann Dunham and a number of her girl friends would visit Frank's place and pose for nude and semi-nude photos for fun. He said, " These Uni students, both girls and boys, would drop by for chats on socialism and hangout, enjoying my company with no hint of a generation gap. Virtually all the young brothers consorted with the ofay chicks (at least 80% of them longhaired blondes), and the sisters were affiliated with the white boys. I permitted young white girls to sleep overnight. I saw no signs of racial hangups as these were members of the Now Generation associating with whom they liked."

IT WAS HERE THAT ANN DUNHAM HAD AN AFFAIR WITH FRANK DAVIS AND THE RESULT WAS BABY OBAMA!!

The recently released 95 minute documentary "Dreams of my REAL Father" posits that Davis is the president's true biological father. This is the man who shaped Obama's world view during his formative years. Barack Obama sold himself to America as the multi-cultural ideal, a man who stood above politics. Was the goat herding Kenyan father only a fairy tale to obscure a Marxist agenda, irreconcilable with American values? You must admit....Obama doesn't look remotely like Barack Obama Sr, and has similar facial features of Frank Davis (especially the eyes). This fascinating expose is based in part on 2 years of research, interviews, newly unearthed footage and photos and the writings of Davis and Obama. Dreams of My Real Father weaves together the proven facts with reasoned logic and speculation in an attempt to fill-in the obvious gaps in Obama's history.

It was Obama's grandfather, Stanley Durham, who allowed Davis to visit the young Barack. Dunham, himself a Leftist, saw Davis as an influential role model and black father figure that Obama 'was lacking. Davis certainly inculcated the communist vision of the world throughout Obamas adolescence in the 1970's, right up until he went to college. In fact, those disparaging words about the American Way were Davis's parting words before Obama headed off to Occidental College in California. When he got there he was a fully-fledged communist and looked for similar radicals to hangout with. One of them is Dr John Drew who described Obama's belief as the "Frank Marshall Davis fantasy of revolution." He said, "We fellow Marxists were stunned at Obama's unwavering belief in the imminence of a Marxist revolution in the United States."

The Way I See It....the American people must realize that President Barack Obama is the product of some remarkably radical influences, and here, in Frank Marshall Davis, was arguably the most radical of them all. In his memoir, Obama omits the full name of his mentor, simply calling him Frank, and mentions him 25 times, with whom he looked to not merely for advice on living but as a father figure.

Finally, I'd like liberals and Democrats to please understand that communists are not their friends. The communists always considered liberals to be their "useful idiots", their dupes. They used them incessantly. Davis was one of those who used liberals and infiltrated the Democratic Party and influenced the current president. It's a remarkable story. The truth needs to be told and I will do so with the next two installments highlighting further mentors of ill-repute.

Looking Back On An Obama-nation !

The first thing I noticed about Barack Obama was his ego. The guy had a messianic complex large enough to keep a team of psychiatrists occupied for years. From atop the mountain, he rose up to speak:

           Generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was
       the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this
       the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal.

This sounded like the Ten Commandments type stuff. At very least it sounded like the most important day United States citizens had seen since the signing of the Declaration of Independence. You might wonder, what great day in our history was Barack Obama describing? The day was June 3, 2008, Obama had just won a couple of primaries and clinched the Democrat nomination. That's it!  But in his mind it was a historic day. If you were 45 years old and had already written two books about yourself, you would probably think so too. Even his sullen wife, Michelle perked up and much to the shock of bystanders, said, "This is the first day in my life that I am proud of America."

All of the ego stuff was cute, but it didn't seem likely to amount to much. How could the American people elect a guy with less executive experience than their local dry cleaner?  The only way Obama could possibly become president was for Republicans to basically forfeit the race. They did with John McCain, a.k.a the Bob Dole of 2008.

The second thing I noticed about Obama was his whining. After he became president, he could not stop himself from bashing his predecessor. It was unseemly and embarrassing. After a few months it had become annoying. Bill Clinton had spent eight years letting terrorists, foreign and domestic, run rampant. George Bush never uttered a peep about it. He rolled up his sleeves and did his best to fix the situation. Every president inherits problems. The American people don't want to hear the president whine about them. They want him to put on his big-boy pants and deal with them.

As the first year rolled by I tried to figure him out. I kept running into the same question, posed in different ways on various issues.  WAS THIS GUY AN IDIOT!  Like when he ordered the closing of Guantanamo Bay, even though he had no clue what they were going to do with the dangerous inmates housed therein. Again I asked myself..."Have we elected a fool?" Then he appointed a publicly avowed Communist as his Green Jobs Czar, Van Jones, I asked, "Is Barack a moron?"  It was a shock to be told by an politically astute friend that, "if you hate America, there's a good chance you can find yourself a place in Obama's administration. Socialists, Commie-bastards and Mao worshippers are welcome too." That added to my suspicions of Obama's mental state.

When his solution for an economy that was overspent and saddled with debt was to spend a lot more and balloon that debt to historic levels and then lost America's Triple A Rating, I asked anyone in earshot, "Is the leader of the free world a drooling, gibbering dickhead?" Nobody could give a straight answer so I looked back and examined his academic background. He attended Columbia University (my alma mater), then Harvard Law School and was president of the Harvard Law Review and passed the bar exam. Worked as a community organizer and taught as a professor at the University of Chicago. I finally decided that Barack Obama was not stupid. While he was clearly no genius, he was a man  possessed with an above-average intellect.

With that single realization I had managed to clarify virtually every move Obama made. The sky opened, the angelic choir sang. With the excuse of stupidity removed, transparency had arrived. Unfortunately, for Obama, stupidity can be a pretty effective shield. When you remove stupidity from the equation, his motives appeared unpleasantly cynical. Was he stupid about Guantanamo? NO! He just didn't care where he put the Islamic scum. He cared about pandering to his lunatic leftist base.

More importantly, was it stupid carelessness that led him to appoint Van Jones as the Green Jobs Czar. NO!  He knew full well that scumbag Jones was a Communist, but he appointed him anyway. And what with the economy? Obama's stimulus plan had no prayer of creating jobs and he was smart enough to know it. But an $800 million plus plan that makes no sense as economic stimulus can make perfect sense as a vote-buying scheme. His Chicago flunkies, friends and big donors like major dead-shit billionaire, currency manipulator and Marxist puppeteer, George Soros, got the majority of the taxpayers' TARP money. And unemployment is still over 8%. after 3 years and shows no sign of dropping.

A classic example of his smoke and mirrors expertise came out in Obama's Town Hall Meeting in Elkhart, Indiana. in defense of his tax credit plan he said; "When you give a tax break to working families who are struggling, they will spend it on buying a new coat for the kids, or making sure that they get that car repaired that they use to get to work. When you give it to the wealthier families, hey just put it away somewhere, and so it doesn't circulate in the economy."

"They just put it away somewhere." That's right, folks! If you sneak into Bill Gates' or Warren Buffet's house you can find a big stack of $100 bills they just "put away." It won't be in their mattress. Oh no, Bill and Warren are smarter than that. But it'll be there --put away--somewhere.

The Way I See It....Barack Obama is a multi-millionaire. He knows what rich people do with money. They start businesses. They invest in companies that employ millions. They buy buy bonds that build schools and finance local governments.They do not hide it under that loose floorboard. Barack Obama knows this. He is not stupid enough to think otherwise. But in financially strapped Elkhart, it was a LIE he thought he could sell. Now, I know, and everyone else should know...that Barack Obama is not stupid, but he hopes YOU might be!

Where Have All The Leaders Gone ?

Remember Lee Iacocca, the man who rescued Chrysler Corporation from its demise in the 1980s?  He has written a thought-provoking book with the above title with a cutting edge sentiment that would have meaning not only to Americans but for Australians in a somewhat similar boat. Here's some highlights:

Am I the only guy in this country who's fed up with what's happening? Where the hell is our collective outrage with this so-called president (prime minister)? We should be screaming bloody murder!  We've got a gang of tax cheating clueless leftists trying to steer our ship-of-state right over a cliff. We're got corporate gangsters stealing us blind and we can't even run a ridiculous cash-for-clunkers program without losing $26 billion of taxpayers money, much less build an inexpensive hybrid car. But instead of getting mad, people sit around and nod their heads when the politicians say, "trust me, the economy is getting better." BETTER! You've got to be kidding. Let us shout it out: Throw all the Democrats out, along with Obama!

Someone has to speak up. I hardly recognize this country anymore. The most famous business leaders are not the innovators but the guys in handcuffs. While we're fiddling in Afghanistan, Iran is completing their nuclear bombs and missiles and nobody seems to know what to do. And the liberal press is waving "pom-poms" instead of asking Obama the hard questions. That's not the promise of the America my parents and yours traveled across the ocean for. I've had enough...how about you? You can't call yourself a patriot if you are not outraged! This a fight I'm ready and willing to have, and you should too!

Leaders are made...not born. Leadership is forged in times of crisis. It's easy to sit there with a thumb up your butt and talk theory. Or send someone else's kids off to war when you've never seen a battlefield yourself. We needed a strong leader on September 11, 2001 and he lead us out of the ashes and on to the process of retribution. It was a hell of an effort and our enemies learned a good lesson.

So let us see where we stand now?

• We're immersed in a bloody war with no plan of winning and a president who tells the enemy when we're going to leave. Real smart!
• We're running the biggest deficit in the history of the world, and it's getting worse by the day.
• We've lost our manufacturing edge to Asia and lost over 2.4 million jobs to this outsourcing.
• Our gas prices are high because nobody in power has a logical plan to drill into our huge reserves as so many politicians have been bought by the flea-hugging environmentalists.
• Of our Big Three car companies, socialist Obama has nationalized two of them.
• Our schools are in a disaster because of lazy teachers  and their greedy union.
• Our borders are like sieves and they want to give all illegals amnesty and free health care.
• The middle class is being squeezed to death while Obama smears the successfully wealthy.
• Americans in the poverty class increased by 6.4 million under Obama's misrule.

These times cry out for leadership, but when you look around, you've got to ask: Where Have All The Leaders Gone?  Where are the creative thinkers, the people of character, courage, conviction and even common sense. The silence is deafening, but these are the crises that are eating away at our country's future well being. Everyone's hunkering down, fingers crossed, hoping the government will make it better for them. Unfortunately Obama's Hope & Change has become Change but no Hope!

I have news for the Chicago gangsters in the White House. We didn't elect you to turn this democratic country into a losing European Socialist state. Why are people so afraid to come out and say it? So some left-leaning bonehead on NBC or CNN news will call them a name? Give me a break and screw political correctness. Why don't you guys show some spine for a change and yell-it-like-it-is?

The Way I See It....Lee Iacocca isn't trying to be the voice of gloom and doom here. He's trying to light a fire under the complacent majority to say there still is hope to return to the principles that made America the beacon of freedom and ingenuity. Americans can't afford to lose it all to the gospel according to Obama that the U.S. is unexceptional and doesn't deserve a special place in the world.

Here Come The Closet Black Conservatives !

Rev. C.L. Bryant is making waves with his new documentary film, Runaway Slave, a film about personal freedom. It was conceived by Rev. Bryant and supported by private donations and Freedom Works.(a conservative non-profit organization based in Washington, DC). The initial screenings have been well-received and often with standing ovations and is opening all across America as we speak.

Herman Cain caught a great of flak for his comment on the campaign trail that he "had left the Democratic plantation," but he's not the only one saying it now. Indeed, the good Reverend has now joined the ranks of a number of black closet conservatives who are speaking out against big government, which is what they perceive to be the new plantation. There is a growing list of blacks finding the courage to speak out. One notable is K. Carl Smith, who is the head of the Frederick Douglass Republicans and subscribes to the "four life-affirming values of Douglass: respect for life, respect for the Constitution, belief in limited government and individual responsibility."

The film itself has a gritty, urban, edgy feel to it, at times contrasted with scenes of rolling hills and pastoral images of a beautiful America. The main theme of the documentary is not new: the enslavement of black society by a big socialist government. People like Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are described in interviews as "race-hustlers"or "poverty pimps" because while they claim to represent the best interests of black America, they are profiting from the continued degraded status of blacks.

On his journey across America, Bryant met and talked with author and pundit Star Parker. Parker authored Uncle Sam's Plantation: How Big Government Enslaves America's Poor and What We Can Do About It.  She shares her compelling personal story from welfare to entrepreneurship in her book. She explains that "what broke down in black America is just a picture of what's breaking down in the rest of society. Not only has the government enslaved the poor, but now we're looking at the extension of Obama's government into all communities and that includes businesses." She adds, "A burgeoning lower class of people dependent on the government will likely continue voting for the party that keeps the handouts coming!" Thus we have the stunning statistic that 95% of black Americans voted for Barack Obama in 2008! This time, with black unemployment now at 14% up from 13% and no obvious helpful sign from Obama, it should be interesting to see the tally this time.

Given all this, why such a monolithic turnout from the black community for the Democratic Party, especially when history tells us that it was the Democrats that supported the Klu Klux Klan in the early 20th Century. It is well known that Harriet Tubman, Frederick Douglass and Booker T Washington were all Republicans. And Republicans were in control of both houses of Congress when the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments were passed, which granted freedom, citizenship, voting rights and due process to blacks. Later, Republican President Eisenhower signed into law the 1957 civil rights act, which set in motion the civil rights commission in the Justice Department. It's important to note that it was a Republican senator, Everett Dirksen who blocked a Democratic filibuster against the 1964 civil rights legislation that allowed equality of opportunity in education and employment. You'd have to think that blacks suffer from historical amnesia and they're paying for it.

One of the questions Runaway Slave attempts to answer is how has black America been improved by all these handouts? Part of the problem seems to be the controlled decimation of the black family perpetuated by the requirement that to receive that entitlement check, there must not be a father in the home. You get married....you lose your welfare check. Deneen Borelli, in her new book, Blacklash, says, "it's all in the message from the career black politicians who promote big government solutions that result in stagnation and government dependence." The better way, Borelli suggests, is to "quit blaming everyone else and take responsibility for your life. The Constitution does not guarantee you success, but it does guarantee you the opportunity for success."

The Way I See It....the new poll conducted by the Wall Street Journal this week is utterly ludicrous. It shows that support for Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney among black people stands at an incredible zero percent!  Nada, Zilch!  But it order for the poll to be accurate, one would have to assume that there are indeed "zero" African-Americans that stand with Romney. And while the folks at the Wall St. Journal certainly aren't obligated to justify their findings, they would likely have a hard time doing so to the sea of African-Americans who took to Twitter to express their support for Romney after feeling as if they were being ignored -- or better yet, as if they don't exist at all.

• Savannah Savvy - A poll says 0% of Afro-American voters support Romney. Heh. We are the 0 Percent!
